Bokuto would cry of course. On their last day in Japan, he would take them to all of their favorite places to go together and buy them whatever they wanted. He’d make sure that he had all of their contact information stored in at least three separate places so that he would never lose his connection to them (because they both know that he’s flighty as heck). He would pull them into a crushing hug at the airport and cry into their hair a lot before he had to let them go. Then they would skype every day until they could be reunited.

Akaashi

Akaashi sped to the hospital when he heard about thecrash on the radio. He knew that hiss/o had been involved and he needed to be at their side and know that they wereokay. By some miracle he made it to the hospital without being pulled over forspeeding. He burst through the doors of the emergency room and ran towards thedesk. “[Name],” he panted out before the nurse could even open her mouth. Shegave him a knowing smile before leading him back to a room where his s/o washaving their wrist set. Akaashi rushed in but hesitated at their side. Hewanted to embrace them but didn’t want to hurt them either. They gave him asmall smile. Their face was scratched and red from crying, but that smilemelted away the tension in Akaashi’s chest.

“Keiji, I’m okay, really,” his s/o assured him in aweak voice. “I just shattered my wrist is all.” They laughed shakily.

“Well, if that’s all it is,” he replied trying tomatch their weak humor. When the doctor was finally finished tending to theirwrist, Akaashi pulled them into a careful hug.

 Kuroo

Kuroo was lounging on the couch waiting for his wifeto get home from her friend’s house when his phone rang. “Tetsurou, sweetie,please don’t panic but I need you to come to the hospital as soon as possible,”came the shaky voice of Kuroo’s wife through the speaker. Kuroo almost droppedhis phone.

“What is it what’s wrong what’s that noise is everythingokay are you okay is the baby okay-” he was babbling and he knew it as hesearched his pockets frantically for his car keys.

The laugh coming out of his phone cut him off.“Everything is fine. It just seemslike our baby is a bit overeager to enter the world.” She paused and thenadded, “That’s probably your fault. Just get over to the hospital when you can;we’re just about there.” Her breath hitched for a moment before she said, “Ilove you,” and the call ended.

Kuroo was relieved that they had picked an apartmentfairly close to the hospital and he was through the front door less than tenminutes later. “I-my wife- baby, I think…now?” All he could get out was astring of jumbled words.

The lady working the desk smiled gently at him. “KurooTetsurou?” Kuroo nodded vigorously.

“Your wife made sure to pass the name along; she saidyou would probably be a bit…scattered. Follow me,” she got up and led himthrough hallways that blurred together. Soon, they arrived at his wife’sbedside and Kuroo clutched her hand as she smiled up at him through her obviousdiscomfort.

“A-are you sure you want me here? I won’t make youuncomfortable, or mess you up or-” He was cut off by her tired giggle as shesqueezed his hand tighter. “I couldn’t do this without you, Tetsu, but how onearth would you being here make me mess up giving birth?”

Tsukishima

“Tsukkiiiii, I’m scared!” His s/o whined, sitting onthe exam table. Tsukishima gave a fake sigh ofexasperation and took their hand as he pulled the extra chair up next to them.

“You’ll be fine, [name], it’s just a tetanus shot,” hesaid in his most soothing voice which, admittedly, wasn’t the most sympatheticsound in the world.

“But, Tsukki, I’m scared of needles!” They wailed,clutching onto his hand harder.

“Maybe you should’ve thought of that before youstepped on a rusty nail,” he teased, thumping them lightly on the forehead. Hecracked a small smile at their pout and raised their intertwined hands to hislips and lightly kissed their knuckles. “Everything is going to be fine,sweetheart. It’ll be over after one little poke, and I’ll be here the entiretime, holding your hand.”

His s/o gave him their bravest smile at those wordsand squeezed his hand. “I love you, Kei.”

“And I love you.”

Oikawa

As proud as Oikawa was of his s/o for saving that poorgirl from a group of nasty ruffians, he hated to see them so listless in ahospital bed. Obviously, the pain meds were doing their job. “Tooru?” came thesmall voice next to him, snapping him out of his thoughts.

“I’m right here, love,” he replied, giving them hischeesiest grin to cover up his worry.

They gave him a knowing look and took his hand intheirs which he clung onto tightly. “Tooru, I’m fine okay? Just some bruises,nothing that won’t heal quickly.” They tried to sit up and winced at the painshooting through their ribs. Oikawa immediately dove in to help them into asitting position.  He studied their facebefore cracking a smaller, genuine smile.

“The black eye thing really isn’t a good look for you,you know,” Oikawa teased, lacing his fingers between theirs.

               “Tooru, you’re somean!” his s/o whined at him, weakly trying to pull their hand away. Oikawawouldn’t let them however, and kept a firm grip, intertwining their fingers.

               “I’m just teasing,[name]-chan! Well, I guess I’ll have to nurse you back to health again.” Hegrinned and leaned in so that his lips brushed against their ear. “I’ll evendress up as a sexy nurse if that will speed up your recovery.”

               His s/o blusheddeeply and shoved his head away as he erupted into a fit of giggles.

Tsukishima wouldfall for a girl that seems serious but is easily embarrassed and blushes a lot.He would like it if she had a collected appearance with neat clothes and neathair but wasn’t actually a cold, stand-offish person. He would like a girl thatsmiled at his jokes and had silky hair he could run his fingers through. Hewould also like her to be shorter than he is so he could carry her around withease.

Tanaka would havetwo distinct types of girls: the outwardly rebellious looking type or thesweet, quiet type.  He would think it wasreally hot if a girl had a lot of piercings and a crazy haircut, but he alsolikes the girls who wear floral print skirts and bows in their hair. He wouldn’treally care about the girl’s height.

Hinata would bemore attracted to a girl’s personality, but he would still have some favoritephysical characteristics. He would like girls shorter than he is with a morecasual way of dressing. He would want an energetic girl that likes fun, playfuldates, so if he sees a girl dressed super nicely all the time he might not beso inclined to ask her out. If she’s always smiling and her hair’s a bit disheveled,that translates to fun in Hinata’s mind.

Oikawa would beconfused at first but he would be very supportive once his s/o explained it tohim.

He would slip up and misgender them sometimes but be extremelyapologetic about it and try to fix his mistake.

He would happily take them clothes shopping if there wasanything they needed after coming out to him.

He would be excited to learn more about them and do his bestto understand and help wherever possible.

If anyone made fun of his s/o Oikawa would turn deadly.

He probably has a lucky dinosaur that he keeps next to himwhile he works.

He has a special pen and pencil set that he uses for examsonly.

When he’s having a hard time with an assignment he drinkssome warm strawberry milk to calm down and focus.

He takes music breaks every so often where he buries his head in a pillow and blasts a couple of songs through his headphones.

Kuroo: Kuroo has never been one to be scared by horror movies.However, his s/o is a bit of a wimp and he knows it. What he doesn't understandis why they always insist on watching them when the bad demons and monstershaunt them for a week after. They were currently on their third movie of thenight, huddled together on the couch under a blanket. After keeping their eyesclosed for at least a third of Insidious 1 and 2, they had insisted oncontinuing onto The Conjuring. Kuroo bit back yet another chuckle as his s/olet out a startled squeal at a loud bang on the movie. They clutched evertighter onto Kuroo’s arm that hadn't moved from its protective position aroundtheir shoulders for the past three hours. “Don’t worry, babe,” he murmured,nuzzling against their cheek. “I won’t leave your side tonight. Those demonswould never get through me!”

Oikawa: Oikawa knew that this had been his idea. He had gottenhimself into this. He knew it but he was having a hard time accepting it as heburied his face in a pillow and his s/o squealed next to him and wrapped theirarms around his shoulders. They had started off with The Woman in Black and hadsat through two more movies after that. Oikawa had never been great with horrormovies and neither had his s/o. Unfortunately, they both overestimatedthemselves and had decided to put on a fourth movie. Now neither of them couldwatch the screen as the third Paranormal Activity movie played on.“Tooru,” came the small voice from beside him. “Can we justturn it off now?”

Oikawa lifted his face and gave a shaky smile. “If that’swhat you want love.” He had never turned off a DVD and TV so quickly in hislife. “Do you want to leave a lamp on?” He asked as they made their wayupstairs to his bed.

“Yes, please,” his s/o answered, gripping his hand tighter. When they reached his room, Oikawa tucked them in beforegoing across the room the turn on his desk lamp. He crossed back to the lightswitch and flicked it off before practically diving into bed and wrapping hiss/o in his arms.

“Tooru? I think we should stick to comedies in the future.”

“Agreed.”

Tsukishima: Tsukishima would never admit it, but he hated horror movieswith a passion. He couldn't stand the gory kind, and the ones with demons andthe like scared him. But when his s/o asked him out to see the newest scarymovie in theaters he couldn't say no. So now, Tsukishima is sitting in the darktheater with his arm around his s/o trying desperately to keep his breathingunder control as the opening credits played. “Why do these things always havesuch crappy music,” he muttered, trying to hide his discomfort. 

His s/o smiled and snuggled against his side. “It’s to buildof the suspense, Kei! It’s fun, relax.”

Fun? Tsukishimathought. Clearly he had fallen for a crazy person. Unfortunately for him, thefirst jump scare occurred only minutes in and he couldn't stop himself fromjumping along with half of the other people in the theater. His s/o looked overat him, surprised. “Kei, do you not like these movies?” 

Knowing he had been found out, Tsukishima shook his head. “Theyfreak me out, honestly,” he muttered abashedly.

His s/o deflated a bit, probably feeling guilty. After asecond they perked up again. “Don’t worry babe, I’ll protect you!” They exclaimedquietly in his ear. They snuck their arm around his waist and planted a kiss onhis forehead. They didn't let go of each other until the movie ended and theywere back in the car.

Kageyama unconsciously hit his clapping sticks together inrhythm with the others cheering from their school. However, he did not join in thecheer. He stayed silent, focused on the form of his s/o cutting through thewater. He watched as their arms cut an opening in front of them and they turnedtheir head to breathe with perfect timing. They reached the end of the pool andexecuted the turn flawlessly, making Kageyama’s heart rate speed up a bit as hewatched his s/o began to speed up in the last leg of their race. He let out asmall “yes!” when he saw their hand slap the wall just after one other swimmer.His s/o emerged from the water and pulled off their swim cap and goggles,scanning the crowd until their eyes met Kageyama’s. Their face split into ahuge grin and they waved excitedly. Kageyama could feel heat creeping into hisface as he lifted his hand in a small return wave.

After the award ceremony, Kageyama stood off to the sidewaiting for his s/o to show up. Finally, there they were, pushing through thecrowd with their silver medal around their neck. “Tobio!” came the excited calland then they were throwing their arms around their boyfriend. Kageyama blushedand awkwardly wrapped his arms around them in return.

“You looked really cool out there,” he murmured into theirear.

“Thank you, Tobio! And thank you for coming too,” they gavea small laugh and pecked him on the cheek.

I can’t think of Iwa-chan without thinking of sports plus he seems likethe mother hen type that wants to keep everyone healthy and happy so:nutritionist.

Kuroo: Obstetrician

Let’s be honest. Kuroo would’ve been that kid that insisted on beingtold where babies come from at the age of like 4. Instead of being disgusted hewould have been fascinated and now he delivers babies. Also I feel like hewould be a calming bedside presence.

Kenma: Skin cancerspecialist

I honestly have no explanation for this. I was thinking that Kenmawould be good in a research field and somehow my thoughts led to this.

Suga: Pediatrician

Suga would be great with kids and the parents would love him. He hasthe most angelic smile and calming voice so his patients always feel at ease.The candy he gives out doesn’t hurt his reputation either.

Inuoka is the boy for you! His outgoing and cheerful personality will definitely help break any ice between the two of you. You won’t have to worry about being shy or unapproachable- he’ll be talkative enough for both of you. And in social situations, he can help introduce you to other people and make things less stressful or intimidating. Once you get closer to him, he’ll be delighted to see your more open and affectionate side. 

Inuoka is the biggest cuddler around, honestly. He would have no problem heaping affection on you all day. When you started to feel insecure, he would instantly reassure you that he thought you were beautiful, hilarious, talented, and that he absolutely adored you. Being the energetic teenage boy that he is, he would love the fact that you know how to cook. He’d definitely eat anything and everything you made and would compliment you every time on how delicious it was. He would be in awe of your creative talents. Expect a lot of excited praise over your music, art, and writing!

A Typical Date: It almost seems as though one of the only times Inuoka is quiet is when he’s listening to you play the piano. His usual energy channels itself into a complete focus on you and the beautiful music. After every piece you play, he applauds and heaps compliment after compliment on you. Later, he tries to help you make dinner but the poor boy is somewhat… culinary-challenged. He ends up accidentally setting the stove on fire! You salvage what you can- he apologizes again and again and promises to make it up to you. And he does. You later find a huge, adorable stuffed plushie on your bed and a letter that earnestly describes all of the wonderful things about you that made him fall in love with you.

Other potential matches:

Ennoshita would be completely understanding of your introverted side. His gentle but firm personality would be a solid support for you whenever you started to feel overwhelmed or anxious. He would also love seeing your art or writing and listening to you play the piano!
