i don’t know exactly how to define my practice, but i will choose to believe that my visual and literary and community driven works will reach an astonishingly high level of intellectual originality, aesthetic ambition, and social relevance. i will be widely read and known for my distinctive work.

i will find a long-term romantic partner who is fully, emotionally generous and supportive and nurturing, but also recognises the rewards of ambition and approaches their ambition & mine with excitement, not fear. together we will encourage each other to do our most meaningful and fulfilling work.

i have more strength and resources and creativity in me than i think; i can be less cautious about carving out more time for my work, and i will be strategic and resourceful in figuring out how to fund it.

i will take my dreams seriously and they will happen.

i won’t become cynical and bitter and afraid when faced with temporary failures.
