A Crimson Reminder

//Hello!! I bet you’re wondering who the hell I am and where I came from!

Well not to worry my friends, I am not an entirely new face. If you remember the blog notjustahologram, I am the same mun. I took some time off and decided to come back to the rping community. 

When she spoke, another pang of guilt stabbed through him.. But he couldn’t take her with him when he was like that. There was no way he would have been able to care for her in such a state.

Rhys hummed a little bit to himself as he looked around for some place to get out of the wind for awhile. Spotting a building not too far away he began to make his way towards it. Turning on his heel slightly he made a motion towards the other man to follow him. He pointed towards the building before turning back around and walking towards it. Upon arriving he looked into and found that it was one of the many empty buildings that littered the planet. He was thankful of that as he entered it and out of the raging winds. 

When Rhys turned his back on him, Jack took the opportunity to size the other man up despite the winds that somewhat distorted his vision. The man looked like it would be easy enough to overpower him; the only thing that could prove to be an issue would be that arm of his. He’d have to get around that somehow...

When the other man turned on his heel and beckoned for him to follow, the Rugaru nodded and hurried after him. Once they were in the building and out of the winds, Jack reached up and rubbed at his hair, somewhat irritated by the slight amount of dirt that got blown into it. Despite this irritant, he smiled at Rhys in response to the question.

He shook his head. No no no. He couldn’t get caught up in maybes. Angel needed his help. 

He worked quickly, cleaning and bandaging the wound, hoping that he wasn’t too late to save her. His brows drew into worry as he worked, being as gentle as he could. Once he was done caring for her wounds, Jack laid Angel down in his bed. When he saw her coming to, he quickly applied his glamour to greet her. 

Oh he just couldn’t believe this. He just wanted to leave already yet a stupid wind storm of epic proportions had kicked up. He didn’t know when it was going to end but he knew he couldn’t get back until the winds died down enough to allow that to happen. It frustrated him and he swore under his breath as he tried to face away from the fierce winds that were whipping past him until he heard someone call towards him.

Head turning to face the sound and seeing them approach. A small smile came across his features. Maybe he could make the best out fo the situation. Another deal to be made on the planet wouldn’t be hurt.

That... Wasn’t exactly the answer he was looking for. This showed in his expression as a slight form of confusion passed onto his face for a moment. Maybe he misheard him. 

Still. He needed to trick this man into going with him and it appeared as if his plan was working.

Jack nodded after his moment’s pause, a soft smile perking at the edge of his lips as he wrapped his arms around himself in an attempt of appearing troubled by the winds that were beginning to pick up. 

He had to get her somewhere safe. His daughter was going to bleed out in his arms if he didn’t move fast... But his camp was on the other side of the wind storm and he would never make it in this form. 

Shifting from where he stood in the wasteland, he moved towards the source as he reopened his eyes. After a few minutes of searching, he saw a tree materialize out of the kicked up dust in the distance. Against it, the Rugaru saw a child, their features being indistinguishable against the dust... Perfect.
