I know it's been years since orphan black aired but I don't think it's understood that Alison Hendrix, the "Normal Soccer Mom" has the craziest plot lines in the show despite one of the other main characters being a former serial killer who was brainwashed by a group of religious extremists since she was 12

soccer moms just be like that tho

Orphan Black was built on giving you a character who you think fits neatly in this box and then pulling the rug out from under you and saying ‘actually that character was the opposite’. It happens with every single character.
