"A bit," she replied in a small voice. She smiled at his own. "It’s okay, my name is Ariel," she told him.

"Ariel. That's beautiful. I am Loki," he said, trying to keep his voice down as not to scare the child again.

"Forgiveness is a sentiment I rarely venture into," Loki replied, giving a chuckle. "What should I call you, dearest twin? That is without causing confusion," he finally asked, folding his arms behind his back.

"I am called Loki, as I assume you are as well. Hopefully there will only be minimal confusion," he said with a slight laugh. He uncrossed his arms, letting them hang at his sides. This mirror image of himself did not make him uneasy at all.

Ariel backed away from Loki. He was intimidating, she’d give him that. What was she doing here? “I- I don’t know, sir.”

The child made him step back. "Did I frighten you?" He knelt to be even with her height. "My mistake, miss, I'm terribly sorry." Loki offered a small smile as an apology.

"You seem to dislike your own company, mirror-mine," Loki said with a chuckle, a smirk playing on his lips. "I’m here simply out of curiosity, but if you dislike that, I’ll leave."

Loki looked the man up and down, feeling very much like he was indeed looking in a mirror. "I did not expect to meet a twin today, forgive me," he said, looking down.
