Silver is a hot-headed emotional character. It's his main character flaw and it's why:
Silver has a tendency to be impulsive and act rashly (This is what Mephiles uses to manipulate him according to the script of Sonic 06)
Silver gets into fights (Sonic Man in 06, a bunch of fights/races in the Rivals series, some almost fights in the Mario & Sonic series, Infinite in Sonic Forces, almost fights Blaze when they first meet in Sonic Colors DS and Sonic Channel Otherworld Comedy)
Silver can get riled up with enthusiasm
Silver punches things when he's frustrated
Silver is always with stoic people that calm him down like Blaze, Shadow, Espio and Whisper
In the Japanese version of Sonic 06 Blaze says she's worried about Silver rampaging on his own (That was mistranslated as him being insecure alone in the English dub)
