Crazy how women with light complexions will get with dark skinned men, then have a problem when they have darker skinned daughters. Poor little girl probably had no concept of colorism before her mother pushed the idea into her head.

Confession: My mom constantly rips apart my looks, weight etc and it’s taken a toll on my life. She’s blamed me for my sexual assault and refuses to even acknowledge that it even happened. That being said, she took me and my (white) boyfriend out to dinner and straight up told him to leave me because my weight and blackness. She did this in front of my grandma and my boyfriend. I feel like she never even wanted me to begin with.

Get your coins together and leave that toxic woman behind. Some people truly have no business having children.  Just focus on how you will prevent her sickness from further tainting your life, and not passing on this hurt to your own kids (if you choose to have any).
