To me, this reads as a guilty face. Not just one of her being sad, but of her blaming herself and being so utterly resigned to it that she can’t do anything but sit it out. But going further, she’s holding a white/blonde wolf. Scott and Derek are both presented to us, through the 3A opening, as black wolves. So, this is most definitely not either of them. Allison will be becoming romantically entangled with Isaac during 3B, and we have yet to see what he would theoretically look like as a full-on wolf, but my bet is on it following the hair-to-fur trend and coming out as similar to this one. Now, to link these two ideas, and to explain the deadened wolf that lies before us, Kate Argent makes a return, at least in Allison’s mind. She showed up in the sneak peek given to us at the end of 3A, and she was ready to string Isaac up and end him.

I definitely agree that this face is guilty as much as it's sad.  It's obvious she would blame herself for her mother's death.  If she hadn't been dating Scott, Victoria would never have gone after him so vengefully, and she never would have gotten bitten.  She died literally as she was turning.  At the time, Allison was actively ignoring her.  Of course there's a lot of guilt there.

Why would I think that it's Victoria and not Isaac?  The idea of Victoria has haunted Allison since her death and has been incredibly emotional for her.  It guides her, but it also points out all her insecurities and flaws.  It is a source of incredibly complicated emotions.  The hunters are a matriarchy.  The women make the decisions that affect the entire group and Allison chose to become involved with Scott, knowing full well that it could be incredibly dangerous.  Her decisions lead to Victoria's death.  But more than that is the Allison/Isaac dynamic.  We already know that Allison's romantic feelings are complicated by her past with Scott and Isaac's friendship with him.  It's implied that they never actually get together, simply for those reasons.  Not to mention that if I ever had a dream like the one Allison had in the teaser scene, I would flee as far as I could from Isaac just out of the fear that I might one day kill him, however irrational that actually is.

So, no, I don't think it's Isaac.  I think it's Victoria.  Allison thinks that she killed Victoria.

And she will never forgive herself for it.
