Hello and welcome to my disaster area. This blog is dedicated to Horse Isle 3 and is a sideblog where I can rant, rave, and/or post and reblog pretty art and fun pics of horse isle to my heart's content, all without pissing off mutuals on my main blog who don't follow me for my horse game bullshit.

Feel free to @ me in any of your hi3 shenanigans! I would love to reblog all the things I find all the time but I always feel a little weird reblogging stuff that was first posted months ago that I only got to see because I dug around in the tags.

A few of the horses that served as the basic foundation of my Sausagebred breeding program. From top to bottom: Star Status, Vienna, Snoosege, and Maple.

Star Status was a wild I found and was probably one of the most influential studs I had despite not technically being a sosig himself. He passed on his long back and so when bred to short-legged mares this created a more defined sausage look than most of the store studs were offering.

Snoosege was one of the first times I out-crossed by using a stud from another player’s store. His name was Law School Grad and I crossed him to a wild who had slightly short legs and a ridiculously long nose.

Once upon a time in HI3's beta testing phase, I caught a wild I thought looked so ridiculous, I just had to keep him and attempt to breed more funky little dachshund-looking horses. But then, while selling off all the other random wilds I had caught, I accidentally trader'ed my prized Snausage before I ever had a chance to breed him. Oops. No worries though, because on the eve of an impending world reset to bring the game into Beta Phase 2, I would meet another player who specialized in breeding stubby-legged wonder ponies. She was giving a bunch of them away for free so that everyone could enjoy how fun they were. And that was how Snausage II came to be. She was a great-granddaughter of Hotdog.

A few weeks after Beta 2 started, I randomly stumbled upon a wild not too far from the club I was a member of, a flaxen muddy dun grade pony who came with the randomly generated name of Perfect Match. While he wasn't an exact copy of Snausage II, I dubbed him Snausage III. I was so excited I shared my news with all of my fellow clubbies, but only one understood just how excited I was about this, and that's because she was the one who gave me Snausage II.
