Day 1 - December 20th - Mother's Night : Honor female ancestors, mother & feminine figures - connect with the divine. Create & share recipes. Tell their stories & celebrate. (Also a time to give offerings to female deities you work with.) Day 2 - December 21st - Winter Solstice : The darkest night of the year. Embrace stillness & reflect on the past year - what did you learn & experience? Find gratitude in all situations - honor the cycles of the earth. Release the old & welcome in new energy. (Ideal for journaling - write down what you learned, releasing & your wishes going forward, finding light in the dark.) Day 3 - December 22nd - Warmth & Restoration : Reflect on the longest night of the year & welcome the rebirth of the sun/light. Make space for abundance & prosperity to enter your home, life & energy. Day 4 - December 23rd - Gather : Come together with family & friends. Celebrate the season by connecting. If you prefer to be alone, reflect on the relationships in your life - find gratitude & cherish the connections that support & give you strength - including both physical & spiritual bonds. Day 5 - December 24th - Feast Day & Divination : Prepare your favorite dishes & treats - celebrate with family, friends or alone. This day is also for divination & honoring ancestors & spirits who roam the earth on the longest nights. You are invited to leave offerings, light candles or create charms & crafts. Day 6 - December 25th - Community & Joy : Focus on giving, compassion & spreading joy/cheer - within your community, or with family/friends. Reach out to those you love & share kindness. If you do not want to do that & prefer to celebrate alone, an alternative can be engaging in activities that bring you happiness. Day 7 - December 26th - Spiritual Renewal : Cleanse your sacred space or altar - light candles, practice divination & set intentions. Day 8 - December 27th - Protection : Focus in on your space - declutter, organize & clear out stagnant energy. You can perform a protection spell, ritual or reaffirm boundaries within your home for the new year. Day 9 - December 28th - Divine Connection : Connect with deities & who you work with, give offerings, show gratitude & appreciation - honor them. Day 10 - December 29th - The Hunt : Find time to connect with the earth & nature. Take a walk outdoors, go to a park or sit in your yard space - explore your environment. Reflect on the seasons. Day 11 - December 30th - Bless the New Year : As Yule comes to a close, focus inward & reflect on your intentions & wishes for the upcoming year ahead. Welcome in abundance, growth & prosperity. Write down your goals & aspirations. Day 12 - December 31st/January 1st - New Beginnings : The wheel has turned once again - celebrate by embracing change & transformation - allow new energy & opportunity to flow into your life. Reflect on the last twelve days - how do you feel? Light candles, meditate, journal - spend time enjoying stillness & inner peace.
