They’re bombs.

DON’T!! FORGET!! TO DRINK!! LOTS OF WATER!! We had a girl pass out today at band camp because she didn’t have enough water and was exposed to the blazing hot sun! It was scarier cuz she’s in my section and she’s a good friend! So please, PLEASE, whether you’re at band camp or marching band practice, drink tons of water and sit in the shade during breaks! Passing out or watching someone pass out is literally the scariest thing to watch while marching, especially if you’ve never seen it happen before or if they’re a close friend/section mate. So stay hydrated and stay as cool as you can. EDIT: yikes kids I followed my own advice but I almost passed out for other reason, so let’s go over some more things! Feel free to add on more! Remember to eat breakfast and lunch before and during camp! Staying hydrated is important, but so is eating as well. This is one of the reasons why I almost passed out today. Also, try your best to not wear black or long sleeves unless it’s cold on a night of practice. This was another reason why I almost passed out today. That, and I was running to a nearby store to get food with friends (since they’re in cross country they could run farther, so I made them leave me). Also, if you absolutely need to sit in the sidelines, sit in the sidelines! Bring your drill with you and watch everyone while following it. Just please take care of yourselves, even the feeling of almost passing out is terrifying. I’m still kinda shaky from when it happened.

 Matthew T Robinson is a young film maker out to make his mark with his company Red Matter Productions. Macro Nova is his newest and most ambitious project yet. Macro Nova is a stunning, full length documentary of the tiny world of insects below us. Not only has this project been self funded so far, his trailer alone has brought home the “Best Cinematography” award from Clifton Film Fest. But this is not enough.
