Hello!!! I just want to say a huge thank you. I know you're not Tumblr active anymore, but I still hope maybe you check your messages. I started reading In Other Words a couple years back, and it was the only fanfic that I bothered reading. You inspired me to write my own stuff, I then realized that I really like writing. I just started a college writing course and I couldn't be happier. THANK YOU for opening that door for me :) :)

Hey, listen. This is a huge, difficult decision for you. Sleep on it. You're thinking too much right now, and distracting yourself with a good night's sleep will help. It always does. I promise.

don't worry about what other people might think of you. you are your own person, and you owe nothing to any of those people. you decide whether you want to make amends on your own terms, don't worry at all about what other people will think. ultimately, this is about your health, and your life, and your relationship with this person. nobody else can lead your life this way.

If you can find it in your heart to forgive her, even when she's been so horrible to you, then you are the best daughter. There's a chance that she will see you becoming kinder to her, and she might change how she is. If thats a chance you want to take, do it.

I've just seen you say to someone that it's your mother. If anything, that entitles you to even more anger, because someone who's supposed to care for you should never act in an abusive way. I think that no one else should be able to impact your thinking, and you shouldn't worry what it looks like to others, because the way you're feeling is the way you're feeling. I think the most important thing to consider is whether or not you'll regret not making amends and focus on that.
