Hola!! No sé bien cómo funciona esto pero lo intentaré xD

Mi nombre es Kristhel, y soy de Costa Rica. Tengo 18 años, me encantan los animales y la gente poco común, en todas las formas posibles. No soy muy sociable pero cuando conozco a alguien suelo llevarme muy bien.

I made this shirt for a lot of reasons. Because pride is inaccessible for me, and a lot of other people with all sorts of disabilities. Because I didn’t have the confidence to wear this shirt at last years pride (my first), or years and years ago when I was ashamed and thought I was unlikable/undatable because of my disability. It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted in the cripplepunk tag, and this is a new blog and a new me. Finding myself as a butch lesbian has helped me in all sorts of ways, and i know it would of taken a lot longer to find myself without cripplepunk.

Making pride accessible is very important to me, and all other disabled lgbtq people. CLEAR walkways, asl interpreters, places to rest, accessible bathrooms, people in the parade actually being cautious of where they’re throwing beads instead of just hurling them… This is a measly list. The bare minimum. There is so much more we can be doing to help.

Retail hourly partners including baristas and café attendants become eligible for benefits after receiving at least 240 total hours over a three-consecutive-month period. Starbucks begins monitoring your total hours the first day of the month following your hire date (or the first of the month if you are hired on the first day of the month) and will continue until you become eligible. Once you receive at least 240 total hours over three full, consecutive months, you will be eligible the first day of the second month following that calculation. Your total hours include both your paid hours and any hours you receive to account for time while on approved, eligible leave of absence. 

For example, if you are hired on May 2, we would measure for 240 total hours in June, July and August. If you meet the requirement over that time, you would receive your enrollment kit in September and become benefits eligible effective October 1.

Now they require you to work at least 20 hours a week. And maybe they don’t let workers work that much. But it seems that baristas (though probably not janitors given that they are not retail…) get the benefits package, including health insurance.
