Wow, this is Taylor giving a master class in the positive side of passive-aggressiveness. She played this perfectly.
When you overhear someone talking negative about you, whether its light joking or serious shit-talk, you can opt to ignore, confront, or passively-aggressively make it clear that you’re aware of what they said WITHOUT acknowledging that they’ve offended you.
The latter puts ALL of the awkwardness on the other person’s side. You can even read Taylor’s tweet here in her disappointed hurt voice, and it makes you feel awkward.
I say passive-aggressively, because Taylor saw her name mentioned here, and only acknowledged that and not the context of their conversation. I’m sure Taylor’s compliment to the Chef was legitimate.
You can see by the Chef’s reaction that there’s some effusiveness there in her compliments, often caused by being awkward.

GARNIERS THEMES: DORIAN
[ preview ♡ pastebin ] The following theme was inspired by the workspace layout of writing software such as Scrivener and Vellum, with the minimalist aesthetic of themes designed for photoset posts, in order to make it as user-friendly as possible for bloggers such as roleplayers, gif-makers, and writeblrs. The codes are compatible with Tumblr’s Legacy Editor and not too incompatible with Tumblr’s Beta Editor—though I’ve been very vocal about the pros and cons of the latter and I wholeheartedly believe its formatting issues are not a matter of theme-makers not being able to look into the future and figure out how to format text posts in seven different ways.
Although I made this theme for personal use I really liked how it turned out and I really felt like sharing it. So I hope you like it. The codes come organized and most customization options are self-explanatory. These codes are free as well as my downloadable graphics though you can also contribute and buy me a coffee to keep the resources coming and commission me for graphics (+ and codes coming soon!).
