Gyarados Hat Pattern

I've still got a lot of editing to do.. I'm glad I set this deadline because I'm sure I would never be totally satisfied with it anyway.  I guess that qualifies it as art?  XD Ok gotta go!

Soo.. I need some sincere thoughts.. If I were to sell my pattern for this hat, what sounds like a fair price to charge for the pattern? When all is said and done, I anticipate at least 20 pages of instructions and photos. I haven't really seen anything comparable out there to gauge my price. :/ I'd appreciate any input! Thanks:)

Felt storage: a wide binder and some clear page protectors. It works better for scrap pieces, but I just folded full sheets in half and it still works. Happy crafting :)

I have some rather big news, which partly explains my inactivity lately... I am starting a new job! I am back on the campus of my undergrad university (hence the crazy squirrel pic), working in my favorite office, Continuing Education! Things are suuuuper nuts (pun totally intended) as I try to wrap up the school year nicely and leave a non-mess of materials for the new teacher next year, pack up three years' worth of teacher-level hoard in my classroom, AND spend my evenings training for my new position. But! I have big news for Hooking Havoc as well: once I am settled into June, I plan to have a bit more time at home to focus on by crocheting, so, starting in June I will be taking commissions for custom orders. :) If you would like some yarn-love of your very own, get those brain muscles working on some ideas! (Not-so)Mini-update... I feel like I haven't been getting much done in the way of crocheting lately, but my Greek gods/goddesses are slowly coming together, and I got to send my pikachu hat to a new customer this week. :) This month is just going to be a slow one, I think- I am still working on some *secret* projects for co-workers/friends that I will need to finish up soon, because at the end of May, I will be leaving my classroom. I accepted a new job in my favorite department at my undergrad university, where I will begin working immediately following the end of the school year. So May will be crazy-filled with packing up my classroom, attending my wonderful sister's graduation from college and her grad party, training most evenings after school at the university... Not to mention the usual lesson-planning/project-grading/field-trip-going/student-contest-prize-making end of the school year stuff! Eek. BUT I wanted to make sure I acknowledged how AWESOME you guys all are for continuing to appreciate my crochetings on here.. I was astonished to realize I have 95 followers!! I've noticed other bloggers who hold contests for their followers when they reach milestones in following numbers, so I'm thinking something like that may be in order when I get to 100! I am going to need SOMEthing to keep me busy in June, after a month like this one! Elly

Someone asked me yesterday what my favorite thing to crochet is, and hands-down, this little squirtle is it! I have been trying so hard to capture their cuteness in photos and just can't do them justice.
