“i feel like shit,” leila admitted. something they’d never admit to anyone else. but here, sitting on the roof and looking up at the stars, they felt like they could finally express things they’d been holding in for weeks. hoodie would be the only one to understand anyway. “like total fucking shit.”

he’s  curious  and  feels  a  bit  bad  over  the  fact  that  he  doesn’t  know  what  they’re  talking  about.  it’s  definitely  not  what  hoodie  was  expecting  them  to  say.  he’d  been  more  content  to  sit  together  on  the  roof,  in  silence  …  seems  like  leila  has  other  plans  for  their  conversation.  “what’s  wrong?”

“how  can  you  be  the  whisperer  if  he  doesn’t  meow  that  much?”  it’s  mostly  a  joke,  but  it  comes  out  monotone,  much  like  the  rest  of  whatever  he  says.  hoodie  just  hopes  she  takes  it  as  a  joke.  “his  life?  what  about  mine?  so  rude,  yara.”

“it’s  not  that  bad,  you  just  have  to  find  where  the  masses  hang  out  then  …  not  go  there.”  of  which  he  is  a  pro  at,  actually!  mostly  because  a  great  majority  of  the  other  gallagher  students  intimidated  here  and  hoodie  is  a  lover  (  kind  of  ),  not  a  fighter.  “it’ll  be  okay.  bootcamp  is  where  you  should  really  be  stressed  out,  i  think.  shit  is  brutal.”

he  hadn’t  meant  to  be  nosy  (  he  did  ),  but  computers  really  seem  to  catch  his  attention  for  whatever  reason.  the  question  catches  him  off  guard  ;  mostly  in  slight  shame  he’d  been  caught.  “uh  —  sorry  man,  i’m  just  as  clueless  as  you.  aren’t  clothes  always  a  good  option?”

“ ALL I WANT… ” seb starts before taking a drag of his joint as he’s laying on a patch of grass, clearly going through a crisis. “ is to smoke this, maybe smoke another, and then just sink into the abyss. ”

there’s  slight  concern  in  the  fact  that  the  other  seems  …  troubled,  at  the  moment.  hoodie  isn’t  the  greatest  with  words,  yet,  he  doesn’t  know  else  to  say  it.  “i  don’t  think  smoking  is  going  to  be  the  problem  solver  of  your  dreams,  though,”  shrugs,  “what’s  wrong?”
