Instinct 

This is one thing that Natsu does in fact use more then anything, including his fist. He is a very intelligent, young, strong dragon slayer but he uses his instincts more then anything in the world.

Possessiveness  

Although Natsu doesn't seem to be very possessive on the outside, he is on the inside. He has so many thoughts that would count as being possessive, but it is rare for him to actually act on it, unless it is about his guild members, Happy, Igneel and the person he has a thing for.

When Natsu is possessive it is normally when some guy/girl chats up his crush or when some stupid people dis his guild. He is very protective of Fairy tail and all their members, he would never forget how much everyone has helped him since he was abandoned by Igneel.

Natsu’s list on hugging lucy

(These are actually in the anime and manga.. I credited the person who wrote this, glad they did cause it’s brilliant) 

Hug number 1. The casual arm around the shoulder: Natsu will do this as a greeting, when a strange guy is close, when she’s acting weird or when I feel like it…

Hug number 2. The I’m so sorry hug: Natsu will hug her from behind and nuzzle her neck a bit. Knowing the hug works when she pats my hair after awhile to show that she has forgiven me.

Hug number 3. The I’m so happy to see you hug: Natsu wouldspin her around which makes her laugh and forget about his injuries for awhile.

Hug number 4. The it’s okay you can cry hug: Natsu would sit up with lucy in his lap, comforting her until she falls asleep.

Hug number 5. The do not come near her hug: Natsu would have Lucy’s body pressed against him firmly, while giving a danger look to those men trying to touch her in a sexual matter or something else, possibly some growls may escape.

Hug number 6. The dry/warm Lucy up hug: Natsu would have his arms wrap around lucy, using his body heat to dry her body if wet or warm her up when cold.

Hug number 7. The drunken hug: Natsu would normally give her a casual hug yet pretend to be drunk and alittle messy with the hug (even though he doesn’t get drunk easily)

Jealousy 

When Natsu gets jealous by other men flirting with the girl he likes or girls flirting with Gray then he will in fact be more destructive then he normal would be. If it was a boy flirting with the girl he like (Lucy) he would punch the guy out and carry lucy away and if it was a girl flirting with a male he likes well he’ll just start a fight with the male so he could take them away from the girls.

Flirting

Natsu is a big flirt like loke and he knows how to make women/men fall for him. His body is one reason most girls find him attractive at first. His charm, sweet tone and the way his eyes stays on the person he is talking to will close the deal so he can do anything he wants with the girl/boy without them even complaining.

He wont admit it to anyone but he seriously knows his stuff when it comes to flirting with people. He wouldn't do it with his guild members since he is known for being dense and he’ll like to keep it that way.

Natsu can be alittle shit at times. He has a very bad side that comes up only when he wants to be playful or do some terrible things like hurting people. He doesn't hurt people unless it’s sexual or when he is protecting his nakama or fighting Gray, which then his behaviour is out the window and he is just like a beast which is good when he is fighting since he doesn't need to think much, not like he thinks any ways.

When Natsu is in Love 

To everyone in the guild fairy tail they would guess that Natsu hasn't got a clue on what love is but to everyone’s surprise he knows a great deal about this subject as he observed others where in love, and Igneel was telling him about his and explain a fair amount on the subject to the dragon slayer.

When Natsu falls in love with someone he truly does fall in love. He may be alittle new to show others how he feels without using his fist to protect them but he will show the person he cares about with love and affection to make sure they understood how he feels. He wont change his behaviour much to those he has fallen for they’ll see a different side to him that he wouldn't allow the rest of the guild to see.

Exercise

In the care of Igneel, Natsu use to wake up at dawn and began training with his father. Every day he did several hours of training with the dragon from his fire magic down to working out so his body could get stronger to handle the magic he has inside of him.
