Yo.

My grandfather was one of the most important people in my life. Sadly, he past away a little over a month ago. I haven't had time to reflect on his passing up until a few days ago, it actually hit me that my grandfather was gone. 

I came back home for spring break Wednesday night; when I walked into my house and saw familiar furniture, appliances, and clothing. I see the couch that I used to sit on when I visited his house, the rice cooker and pots that my grandmother would use to fix up her awesome meals.His bible that he would always read was on the kitchen table. The fact that he wasn't around anymore dawned on me. 

I want to take a trip down memory lane and celebrate his life:

This was me as a toddler with him. My parents would always tell me that he and my grandmother took care of me and sister when we we're younger.

In recent years, my grandfather and I visited my grandmother at her grave every Christmas. This was the last time it happened in 2013

He would always treat me to my favorite meals, espeically Vit Goel haha. 

This was his last thanksgiving meal. He gobbled this up really fast (pun intended :P)

This was my last meal with him in December. I believe it was dwenjang jjigae

This is the last time I saw him in January, right before I headed back to Tech for the new semester. I knew there was a good chance that this was the last time I'll be able to see him. It was a good time of just being with him and cherishing every moment with him.

I mentioned earlier that my grandfather was gone it finally hit me that he wasn't on this Earth anymore. He is now with the Father and rejoicing and worshiping Him at this very moment. Physical and mental pain is nonexistent to him now and I'm just happy for him now.

In the end, I'm thankful for him in my life. He lived 81 long years, he sacrificed so much so that me, my sister, and my cousins could have a better future here in America. His life will always continue in my heart.
