allow fandom to rest for like, a week. maybe two. dont check out ANYTHING, youre dont watch anything related to it. absolutely nothing. let the brain rest (n forget)

Activate the sleeper agent cell. You can do this by two different methods: what you've already seen or something new. If your brain seems reticent to rewatching, you gotta go and find something new. Go down an animatic rabbit hole, read some new fics you hadn't seen before, watch some theories or analysis about the series/fandom

Allow urself to get into it, get excited, daydream about it (and about ur fics, daydream about alternate routes, new endings, different scenes and slowly guide ur brain into thinking about how to continue), think about the character until you feel like exploding. When you feel ready, grab something nice (soda, an energetic drink, sour candy, gum, etc whatevers ur poison) sit down and open the wip. If you went down the animatic rabbit hole, have a playlist with all the music used and put it in the background while u write, because whenever your brain stops and starts thinking about the music, it will get reminded of the animatics and get motivated

It's not an infallible method, for sure, sometimes ur brain needs a little more time to fully reset, but in my experience, one never truly "leaves" or "abandons" a hyperfixation. It only goes dormant and then gets abruptly activated like a sleeper agent. Other things that can help is keeping an open doc while you write ur wip where you can jot down all ideas or thoughts about the new hyperfixation/obsession, that way they dont crowd ur mind [thumbs up emoji]
