— You scoured the internet for hours after you got home from the convention, stalking Instagrams, Facebooks, Tiktoks. You eventually find his Instagram and see he’s a Youtuber. You do some more digging and find some old photos, some that look exactly like Max but in 1898.

— There were also old notes that seemingly talked about the “Burnett” family and info on how the whole town thought they were vampires. So, he was a freaking vampire.

— You confronted him after two more dates. (Is it dangerous to go on more dates with someone you know is a vampire? Yes, but you did it anyways!) It was at his house, late at night, as you were both on the couch and making small talk.

“Max, I need to talk to you about something.” You turn towards the man on the couch, sitting criss cross now.

“Mhm? Is everything okay?” He questions and turns down the video you all are watching and turns his full attention to you.

“I just want to say before, I won’t be mad. I think it’s kind of cool,” You push your hair back, “I know you’re a vampire, Max.”

It’s silence for a few moments and you for a moment feel weird. “You don’t go in the daylight, you absolutely hate garlic, and I sometimes see fangs–“

“Yeah, I am, I am.” He admits and blushes, embarrassed someone actually figured out his secret. “How did you even– are you Sherlock homes or some crap?” He laughs for a moment and you do too. You feel completely safe around a vampire.

“Please don’t tell anyone,” He says, turning serious. “You can’t, you can’t, swear to me. Trust me, i’m not going to hurt you. I don’t do that.” He shakes his head.

“Yeah, of course. I think it’s cool if anything. I have a vampire boyfriend,” You smile and scoot closer to him.

“You’re not scared?”

“Of course not. You’re the sweetest person I know.” You say and lay your head on his shoulder as he wraps your arm around you.

“Me, a vampire, is the sweetest person you know? You need new friends, bro.” He teases and laughs at you.

— He's got retractable fangs. Sometimes he accidentally bites you when you're kissing, but he'll suck up all the blood anyway.

— He's technically over two hundred years old, no biggie. You knew he was old, but not that old.

"I'm– i'm over two hundred years old." He states and leans forward, telling you his top secret.

"Oh my gosh, you are– what?" You're shocked at first and place your hands on your head, "This is so freaking cool. You saw like– the birth of gaming! You're gaming's number one fan!"

"Bro, what?"

— HATES GARLIC!! will do anything if you like to eat it though. He'll take pills, leave the room, anything for you to enjoy that deadly garlic.

— He absolutely loves to suck your blood, no matter the time, if you want him to. He swears you have a sweeter taste than most and is absolutely PATHETIC while begging you to let him suck your blood. He'll get on his knees, those puppy dog eyes convincing you in a heartbeat.

— He of course doesn't suck ALL your blood, just enough for now and patches you up so nicely.

— If you ask for him to transform you into a vampire, his eyes will light up and he'll get so excited. He would give you a whole conversation about what vampires do, how they live, etc. If you still want to be one after, he'll happily turn you. He wants to be with you for eternity.

— His favorite food is still pizza and diet dr. pepper. (besides you)

— He doesn't kill people, just sucks enough blood to get by.

— He still has a youtube channel and posts gaming videos. Every time there's blood in a game, he sometimes gets worked up and has to pause the recording for a bit.

— Of course no one knows he's a vampire, except you. And Ethan, Eddie, and Jacob.

— He’s the clingiest person ever. You try to get up from bed? He’s wrapping his arms around you and begging you for five more minutes. You’re cooking or brushing your teeth? He’s behind you with his head in the crook of your neck and his arms wrapped around your waist.

— You tease him about sleeping in a coffin. He says he’s done it before and it was the most uncomfortable crap ever and that it hurt his butt. His words, not mine.

— He can smell when something even slight is going wrong in your life. Even if it’s as small as not getting the seat you wanted on the bus.

— He’s in love with you, but most of all your scent. It’s so intoxicating and so.. you. He’s absolutely obsessed with you and everyone knows it.

— When he doesn’t get his way, he whines and begs. For being a vampire, he isn’t scary at all, he’s just so whiny.

“No, Max, not right now. I’m trying to cook some dinner.” You respond to Max and place the lid on the pan for the dish to cook.

“Baby, please. I swear, it’s only for a little bit. I’ll be good after. I’ll do the dishes, clean, and i’ll make dinner tomorrow.” He begs with those eyes. He’s wanting you to play video games with him, for himself and because the viewers want to see you.

“Okay. Y’know I can’t say no to you,” You smile and kiss him softly.
