There is no glory to be found in war, there's only pain and suffering. Soldiers are ordered to die for their country, and if they survive, they're treated like shit. Then on "memorial holidays", they're paraded around and shown off like they're objects, not like people. As soon as that "memorial holiday" is over, they're back to being ignored at best and dehumanized even further at worst.
To the fellow woman who dismissively said "life is hard" in response to me being angry about the glorification of war and how it messes people up to be used as lambs for the slaughter, I fucking hate your guts. It's so easy for you to say that because you've never suffered the horrors of violence and war nor the aftereffects of it. I wouldn't want you to, but I still despise you.
Hats off to all of the Sims 4 modders (at least the ones that are decent people) that test stuff every time EA breaks this damn game when they "update" (what a fucking unfunny joke) it. I ain't a modder, far from it in fact, but I feel like I'm losing my god damn mind just checking which mods that I use are broken. I suppose this is what I get for not updating it for nearly a year because EA pissed me off by fucking shit up even more in CAS with the 1.113 update.
Y'know, trying to recreate Sims from Sims 2 in Sims 4 is a major pain in the neck. I really want to recreate Olive Specter and her family, though, but I'm not the best at making Sims. Yes I'm aware that Maxis recreated Olive and Ophelia already, but I still want to try.
So a while ago my Mum and my little brother were watching the One Piece Live Action together. My Mum made me laugh by instantly knowing Kuro was a bad guy simply because he was playing the role of a Butler.

I would say "I'm back, bitches!" but I honestly don't know if anyone I used to interact with still uses this hellsite. If they do, then they probably don't remember me because I've been gone so long.
On another note, there have been a lot of changes made to my main original character that I used to write. Not just in her appearance, but in her personality too.
âAh, is that so?â He smiled softly at Kashya, chuckling a bit as they continued their walk towards the shop heâd mentioned. âTo be fair, I am indeed a parent. I have five children, all grown up. We donât see each too often, several times a year, as theyâre all grown up and busy with their own lives. We communicate in other ways throughout the year, though.â
âWeâre not too far from the store, just a few minutes now.â
She hummed thoughtfully for a moment, âIâm lucky that I live close to Mama, so we can see each other quite often. But I think not being able to see each other as often just makes it more special when you can.â She smiled a bit again, âQuality over quantity as they say.â
When they got closer to the store, she started smelling the baked goods. âMmm, that smells delicious. I love fresh baked goods.â
âI suppose youâre right. I truly do appreciate the few moments we can get together, usually for holidays and such. They live in big cities and a lot of people living there want to escape to the countryside for the holidays. Luckily, they have their old man to go to.â
He inhaled deeply, taking in the scent of freshly baked pastries and smiled fondly. âAlways nice to be here.â
"The big city does have its own charm, I suppose, but the country is nicer to spend holidays in. Less light pollution and less noise." She looked over at Decaeneus, "You love your kids a lot, I can tell by how you talk about them. Kinda reminds me of... Nevermind." The last sentence was spoken under her breath.
She opened the door to the bakery and held it for Decaeneus to step through. Maybe it seemed silly, but holding the door for someone was something she was taught from childhood.

âTrue. It happens, many have gotten lost and many more will, but what matters to me is that theyâre respectful. As youâve pointed out, some just donât care about that. Thatâs frustrating. Iâd chuck some of them to the wolves, if it were still normal to do so.â The last part was grumbled out as he furrowed his brows, recalling a few events which had made him think this way.
Decaeneus raised a brow at the girl. âIndeed. You need your strength, anyways. Thereâs lot of hills and weâre close to the mountains. Plus, there are many roads still made of dirt and rocks; tiring to many, from what Iâve seen. But yes, the lack of waste is good. Donât make yourself sick, though. Eat with care.â
"I can most definitely agree that it's frustrating that some people just don't care about being respectful." She was just going to pretend she didn't hear what he grumbled. Mostly because it was disturbing to learn that throwing people to the wolves was normal at one point. Some of the people that were punished that way were probably innocent.
A giggle suddenly burst from her before she could stop it. "Sorry, I'm not laughing at you. It's just that you sound a bit like a parent. I mean that in a good way, of course. I'll make sure I don't eat too much, the last thing I want is nausea."

He looked at the young woman before him, thoughtfully. She was only human, posed no threat to him, and seemed to have enough respect for others, meaning she didnât appear to be a bad person in Decaeneusâ eyes. âYâknow, I was thinking of getting food from there anyways today. If youâre content with the idea, I can accompany you there.â He stood still, though, choosing to wait for the otherâs approval or rejection, before doing anything else. âItâs a pity you have to deal with that. But at least thereâs people who try, even if they cannot manage to say it right sometimes.â
Kashya smiled at his offer to accompany her to the shop he mentioned. âSounds good to me. I have a feeling Iâd get lost if I tried to go by myself since Iâm not familiar with the area.â She thought about what he said about people at least trying to pronounce her name. âI like the people who try, but I donât like the ones that donât. Although I canât blame them for their confusion since I have a fairly uncommon name.â
âAh, I suppose youâre right⌠It has happened before; unfamiliar people will come here, get lost and will try to ask the locals for help. Unfortunately, there are a lot of locals who do not speak English. So itâs difficult for both the tourist, and local really, because they may not understand whatâs going on.â Decaeneus shakes his head at Kashyaâs last phrase. âOut of respect they have to try, whether it is common or not.â
Hopefully Decaeneus wasn't thinking that she accepted his offer only to avoid getting lost. She enjoyed his company even though he was intimidating at first. "Yea, that sounds like the norm when someone foreign goes to a place they've never been to before." She shrugged at his words, "Some people just don't care about being respectful, unfortunately."
Her stomach growled again, reminding her that she needed to get some food in her system. Once again, a blush crossed her face due to it. "I should really remember to eat before I go venturing out. On the plus side, it means that what I buy won't go to waste."

Although I can't blame them for their confusion since I have a fairly uncommon name."
âHa! My thoughts exactly. Terrible how so many make too much food at once and let the leftovers get stale. Cooking a bit every day is better.â A soft smile graced his features. He then nodded when he was asked to introduce himself, it was only the fair and polite thing to do, and the woman before him seemed to pose no threat, so he could relax a bit. âI am Decaeneus. As for pastries, thereâs many traditional ones with cheeses, both sweet and salty. Though the ones with potatoes and cooked cabbage are a delight as well.âÂ
Okay, so maybe the man wasnât completely intimidating, at least not now. It seemed he had been on the defensive before, and she found herself wondering what heâd been through to make him that way. She wasnât going to ask though, because they didnât know each other and it wasnât her business anyways. âThose all sound delicious, I might just buy one of each since it would be hard to choose. Itâs nice to meet you Mister Deca- Decaene- Decaeneus?â A frustrated sigh left her as she tried to properly pronounce his name.
âTheyâre well worth it, I assure you. And the cheese is made here in the village. The owners of the shop have their own cows, along with several other animals. As do most people in the village. A few chickens at least, if nothing else.â He chuckled seeing the girl struggle with the name, but it was not at her expense. âYes. Nice to meet you as well. I appreciate you trying. There are others, the occasional disrespectful tourist,â he grumbled out, âdonât bother trying to learn it, or come close to how it should be said.â
Hearing that all the ingredients used to make the pastries were fresh, and locally sourced, made Kashya like the thought of them even more. As if on cue, her stomach growled, which made her blush. "Ah... Maybe I should buy some now before my stomach starts aching from hunger. I must have forgotten to eat because I was excited to see a new place." It wouldn't be the first time she'd done that. "Before that, though, I know the frustration of people not even trying to pronounce my name properly. It would be hypocritical of me to do that to someone else when it irritates me so much."
1) Kashya adores wolves, to the point that, as a child, she taught herself how to growl like one. She's embarrassed by that now, because she learned how to do it so well that she can't growl a normal human way anymore.
2) She naturally has canines that are a bit longer and sharper than the average person's, so she had to deal with her fair share of vampire and werewolf jokes in high school. Needless to say, she doesn't find them funny even now.

@honestwolvesâ
âAre you looking for a guest house or hotel? Theyâre not here, itâs best to look further north. Thereâs a shop nearby if you need food, though.â
Kashya jumped at the voice, then turned and saw the person who spoke to her. âOh, umm, Iâm not looking for a guest house or hotel. Someone told me about this village and I asked for directions to come see it because I thought it would let me see some more of the culture of this beautiful country.â She wasnât sure if the guy would accept that explanation, but what could she do? Honestly, he was kind of intimidating. âFood does sound good though, thank you for telling me about the shop.â
Decaeneus nodded, satisfied with the otherâs answer. Usually, not many people knew or visited the village he lived in, preferring to go out and see bigger attractions, ones that didnât always align with the nationâs culture, due to stories made by others. âAh, alright then. Itâs good to see someone come and learn of the culture, especially so closely. Most come for the vampire thing, donât bother with actually goes on around here.â At this he scoffs and rolls his eyes. âYeah, itâs a good shop. It has excellent pastries too, freshly made.â
Well, the guy seemed to accept her explanation, and it was the honest truth. "Freshly made? The best kind." She grimaced at the vampire thing, "I've dealt with my fair share of vampire jokes. They're never funny." She had to refrain from rolling her eyes at the memories of her high school years. "Are there any pastries you would personally recommend, Mister, ummm, may I know your name? Mine is Kashya Usagi."
