A girl from an unknown land who’s currently attending night raven collage as the prefect of the previously abandoned ramshackle dorm. Most students in the collage would describe them as strange, With a smile permanently plastered on their face, a somewhat outgoing personality and quiet demeanor, she certainly stands out among the students of night raven collage. Despite being deemed “easy picking” due to being announced as “magicless” during the sorting ceremony, the students of night raven tend to avoid her more often than not, with most finding her unsettling. Maybe this is due to her being from another world, or perhaps, because she has been spotted numerous times staring off into space and talking to thin air, laughing with something only she can see.

* Despite being perceived as outgoing by the students of night raven Yūyan actually is an ambivert preferring much more to be alone
* When they first arrived in twisted wonderland no one realized Yūyan was a woman due to the baggy ceremonial robes and having ruined their voice right before waking up in the coffin.
* After realizing that night raven is an all boy school and with Crowley referring to her as a boy, She decide to just go with it to keep herself safer. (While she did ask most students to refer to her with they/them pronouns instead)
* The fact that she was a woman became common knowledge within the collage after book 4. (With an odd few who realized it before)
* Yūyan shares a strange relationship with headmaster Crowley. She deals with most of the errands and dangerous situations he puts in her way quite well.
* When questioned about why they puts up with this she usually just replies with a hum and vague gestures usually followed by “it gets me outta class” or “I was bored/curious anyways.”
*only once stating that “oh I know fully well that he’s stalling on sending me home, or if he ever even plans on doing that. But I’m not that upset about it. I’m more curious than anything, I think he’s using me for something and I wanna find out what.”
* They tend to always be dancing on the line of being unsettlingly perceptive and extremely oblivious.
* With multiple students claiming that interacting with them is like “having to talk to the Space cases/Facepalm brigade while having their mood be as unpredictable as Floyd Leeches.”
* At some point Floyd’s nickname for them had changed from “shrimpy” to “Beluga”. when questioned about it he claims that she hummed to much to still be “shrimpy”
* She’s the eldest sibling of her family with one younger sister (they aren’t close)
* Yūyan never really gets angry and claims that it’s “to much effort”
* Anger as an emotion doesn’t ever seem to stick to her. Over the course of the five-ish months in twisted wonderland, most of the students that they know claims that “their anger only seems to come in short bursts and fizzles out as suddenly as it came”
* While seemingly adjusting to being in twisted wonderland smoothly, some of the more perceptive students have noticed signs that she doesn’t seem to be doing as well as she claims/shows.
* Absolutely Despises any type of confrontation, and would rather leave it to anyone else, but is surprisingly good at both slipping herself outta them or actually confronting situations when she’s inevitably roped into them.
* Shares a same birthday as Malleus (January 18th), which came as a surprise to both of them.
* Yūyan doesn’t particularly like celebrating her own birthday, but she enjoys sharing the day with someone who’s always overjoyed to be invited to celebrations.
* Yūyan actually has freckles, but due to living long term in a place with not a lot of Sunlight they’ve actually mostly faded, but a few weeks in the sun and summer heat and they’ll start to speckle across her face and arms again.
* Yūyan’s allergic to a lot of things and may have forgotten to inform the staff at the school due to Crowley not caring enough to ask, and them keep forgetting to bring it up.
* Despite being almost the textbook definition of “weak” with her thin frame, and poor health. Yūyan has a surprisingly strong legs and core. (She says it’s from when she used to do sport in her childhood “but that’s ancient history at this point”) it doesn’t really end up helping them that much.
* While student were aware that Yūyan was not the epitome of “good health” most didn’t realize just how bad it was until winter arrived.
* Winter in actually her favorite season, despite all them problems that come with it.
* They’ve somehow managed to negotiate with Riddle and Lilia to become a part time member in both the equestrian and light music clubs.
* She part-times at Sam’s shop occasionally.
* Managed to somehow save up enough money to buy a tablet for art, and is now taking art commissions for a little extra money.
* Doesn’t like to refer to herself as “chronically online” (despite it being true), due to the fact that they usually are only online for fan content (fanfics and fan art) and would rather die than interact with anything else.
* Once she realized that there was a town at the foot of the mountain on sage island she tries to frequent it whenever they have motivation, and has incidentally been introduced to a surprising amount of royal sword students thanks to Chenya.
* While not particularly worried about returning to her original world, she is Very curious about how she ended up in this one.
* Her memories have always been fuzzy with a permanent haze of brain fog present in their mind.
* She does however believe that the amulet around her neck has something to do with how she was transported to twisted wonderland.
* She had always had it but only recently began wearing it again after loosing it when she was younger, and after learning the existence of mage stones, she began to wonder if the necklace was made of one.
* While the theory had not remained a theory for long with it being confirmed the very night after they let Ace into ramshackle to avoid Riddle. a blond girl in a blue dress and a white apron had suddenly appeared on top of the couch, kicking her feet and smiling playfully. Claiming that she didn’t know the amulet was still intact with how long it’s been since it’s last seen.
* Yūyan recognizes her as “Alice” from the movies in the world they’re originally from and slowly makes the connection between the “Great seven” as to what kind of world she’s in.
* With a slight note of panic, she realizes she has never watching any of the films growing up with only vague memories of the plot and songs. But the “Great seven” were certainly no heros.
