This carbon-fiber cowl fits in place of the small, plastic pop-out master cylinder inspection cover located just below the windshield where high-pressure air is trapped and diverted across the intercooler
Safety and reliability is further enhanced with an intercooler package. KraftWerks knew that their customers wanted an intercooler, but we also knew that they werenât interested in ditching their fog lights or chopping up their front bumpers just to get a front-mount intercooler to fit. KraftWerksâ solution is a cowl mounted air-to-air intercooler system that mounts neatly under the hood in-between the throttle body and radiator. The intercooler is fed cold air from a provided carbon fiber intercooler cowl. The cowl fits just below the windshield where high-pressure air is trapped and diverts cold airflow across the intercooler. The entire kit bolts on without any cutting or permanent modifications to the vehicle and includes provisions for both the intake air temperature sensor and the supercharger bypass valve.
Kraftwerks supercharger kit
The High-Boost Supercharger Kit includes a air-to-air intercooler that mounts neatly under the hood, in between the throttle body and radiator, and picks up airflow from the KraftWerks intercooler cowl.
The KraftWerksâ kit features the remarkable and innovative C15-60 traction drive Rotrex supercharger. The innovative traction drive is silent and effectively decouples the supercharger under light loads to minimize the impact on fuel economy.
Forced induction of late model motors without proper engine management using regulators and other bandaids is risky business but KraftWerks solution is complete. They  called upon the engineers at Hondata to tailor the Fitâs ECU to high-boost duties. The ECUâs fuel and ignition maps have been calibrated to the kitâs RC Engineering 310cc fuel injectors making a true plug-and-play solution thatâs safe, reliable, and functions with the stock header/catalytic converter combo or any number of full-race exhaust manifolds. Hondata also lowered the VTEC window for improved driveability, removed the speed limiter, and raised redline to 7,100 rpm. The result is the perfect compromise between daily driving and track performance. Hondataâs Honda Fit ECU reflash is available exclusively through KraftWerks and is currently the only Fit tuning solution available.

Here is the final whp chart from my L15A1 engine dyno run on a Mustang Dyno.
174whp @ 10 psi
Now the fun part; We did a little testing so on my 1st dyno runs we did it with the intercooler uncovered and hood opened also in 4th gear. The next run was done in 3rd gear and you can see that horsepower dropped from 173whp to 164whp, I believe this has to do with the speed compensation being used on the dyno software.
To me, the more important bit of information is that the horsepower dropped another 4% when the hood was closed, this means the intake is sucking in hot (less dense) air and canât breath (flow) enough on the top end⊠and you can pretty much see it all along the boost curves (blue lines)."
