Watch: This is the kind of crap female sports reporters have to deal with every day

While male sports reporters are typically judged by their commentary and analysis, women in the same industry face far more superficial and sexist scrutiny. It can feel especially bad when seemingly “feminist” publications turn their back.

Some shots from the July 23rd protest against AG Maura Healey’s abuse of power.

It was about 90-95 degrees out and very sunny, but there were several generous folks handing out bottled water to anyone who was thirsty.

Great turnout overall, especially on such short notice! I hear the Boston Police Dept. estimates approximately 5,000 people at the rally.

(Healey’s sudden "clarification” altering 22 years of stable laws happened without notice on Wednesday the 20th, and this is actually the second, more formalized protest.)

Remember, this was a sudden and contemptible attack on the rights of law-abiding citizens, and Healey’s actions fly in the face of due process, separation of powers, and the Constitution.

A key message of today’s rally was:

 “If it can happen to US, it can happen to YOU” 

I think it is an important one to remember, as infringements on rights in a ‘blue’ state like MA, can still be precedent for infringement in free states.

Together, we MUST fight AG Healey and ALL politicians who seek to strip ordinary citizens of their rights!
