Why does no one mention the actor playing the therapist here is Ben's Laertes from his Hamlet - Kobna Holbrook-Smith. And how lovely of Ben to help him get this part as I am certain he had something to do with it.

Agh!!! Damn you PBS cutting scenes from this beautiful movie! I watched it several times on BBC when it first came out and just watched it on PBS now and there are important bits missing! How dare they?! In particular there is a sweet bit when Stephen is leaving Julie's cottage after his visit he stops part way down the path and calls her on his mobile and asks if he could stay over and she says no I am not ready for that yet and he accepts her decision but looks kind of crushed. It is short but very touching and important. Hate you PBS!

If I was judging I would say Ben did him best sorry Eddy!

Ok, tumblr. Since curling really isn’t a big thing in the US, can someone explain to me why it’s an Olympic sport? I mean, seriously, virtually every other winter Olympic sport is death defying, or at least takes amazing athleticism. Curling is more like darts on ice, except with brooms and no pointy things. I’m baffled.

As a Canadian I resent that since it is one of the few sports we actually win medals in. It takes a great deal of team work and skill and focus and what I like about it is you don't have to be a 20 year old super human to compete, the older more experienced curlers are often the best.

I am curious if all those lucky kids at this event were like “coool Dr Strange playing with us” or “ wow it’s Sherlock!” or “who’s that guy in the yellow scarf?”

Good lord this doll is soo realistic it's creepy. Imagine having a model of yourself must be very weird!

Just rewatching Fifth Estate to remind myself what a tour de force performance this was for Ben. Jaw droppingly incredible. The range of emotions constantly changing just through his eyes etc with the crazy accent and mannerisms never slipping on top of all that. Still exasperated that he didn't get the accolades he deserved just cause everyone hated the movie for irrational reasons. Wish Ben could get some sort of retroactive Oscar for this role.

Yeah, @londoncallingsigh. I was surprised I hadn’t seen it before and it does have a low viewer count on YouTube. But it’s so beautiful and an important topic, and Ben does a sensitive performance. Really nice. 👍🏼
