It’s been a long road to get our 1955 Les Paul Special restored and presentable, and @guitargarageusa worked a miracle or two to make it happen. We received this guitar with a less than lovely house paint refin and (wait for it) all of the edges of the body were contoured. Some carefully grafted in Honduran mahogany and a nice front/back veneer later and the shape was restored. Krishna (again of the venerable @guitargarageusa) then took us step by step through every detail of a lightly limed TV Yellow finish.
