leon was no longer able to hide the back marks that littered his body now , not from amelia at least , the expression she held though was enough to make him feel somewhat ashamed . he had been putting it off for so long , pushing it to the side in favor of completing whatever mission he was on or caring for someone else . he had been so careful too . it had been a long while since he and amelia had been in bed completely naked , he was unsure if she had even noticed . often times they were lost in the moments , he pushed aside the fatigue and soreness he felt just to keep up . but now ― now he couldn't do that . not when her hands were so quick and more forceful than before . pulling up and off his shirt , even going so far as to push him onto the couch to take off his pants simply to look at the full state of him . inky black marks stained his skin , blotches forming on his right side hip and on his palm , they crawled against his collarbone and up his neck .

his gaze averted as she took in the sight of him . he should have known better than to hide it , amelia noticed most things , not everything but with him , she had begun questioning why he was so tired . why after each mission he slept longer , harder and for what ? because he didn't want to admit that he really did need help ? a long moment passed as he allowed her gentle fingers to touch the marks on his body , they climbed past the point of being able to hide them now . fuck he was so tired , tired of fighting and fighting . blinking slowly , leon felt amelia finally stand back , once more taking in the whole sight of him . perhaps letting her see was a bad idea , considering how her expression changed now that only dug into his heart . it was bad ― very bad . your body can't take much more . he knew she was right but what really could he do ? finally , after a long agonizing pause , he met her gaze . " i know . its why i gotta do one more mission . " he paused as he looked down at his weakened hand , " i don't know if i'll be back but i gotta ― sherry needs me . " she needs me because she's sick too …

what draws me to a muse ? gosh its really hard to describe . it used to just be about seeing myself in them , some qualities , not all but enough for me to connect with them but over the years its kinda morphed . changed to this sort of want to be that kind of person almost . it honestly is hard to put into words so i am sorry if this really makes absolutely no sense .

of course i cannot be leon kennedy . but i see something in him that i like , and it isn't just because he's strong and built . its because despite everything he's still the very same rookie cop deep inside . all that pain and suffering he's endured , its very relatable in its own way . of course the virus' don't exist so that sort of horror just isn't in the slate but horror still exists in this world . still is a problem . leon hopes , he dreams , he is capable of deep compassion and love . while also harboring the weight of the world on his shoulders .

i guess i kind of answered a little in the first question but really , leon is like the person i both see and feel in my brain cells . he is capable of just so much . he cares deeply about a lot of things , he wants truly to help people and to protect those who can't protect themselves . its a quality i really enjoy writing honestly . as someone who has before very recently wrote villains and unsavory characters before , its refreshing to be on a very different side of the spectrum . he also can be very sarcastic and an asshole at times too , when he's in pain or just not in the mood , that is something i think a lot of us can relate to . 😂😂😂

he is also very awkward in social situations which i also can relate to , dating was never easy for me , thank god @wornkindness picked me and now we are engaged . i dunno i am rambling but that is mostly the jist of it . thank you for sending this in !!! i love yapping about leon and while i don't post enough about him , i try when i can and have the spoons for it .
