That relatable (older) Gen Z memory: when all the projectors and white boards got replaced by Smart Boards™ around like fifth grade and none of the teachers knew how to use them but they Had To Use them otherwise the school just wasted a bunch of money and it was a rlly weird transition

an addition: when they calibrated the board by pressing the dots and everyone in class lost their minds

Oh this is such a mood!!! Our school wanted to brag that they had a smart board in every room-so they put one in the orchestra room, which did not need one and got used only occasionally as a projector for schedules, and my bio teacher complained that the smart board was less useful than a whiteboard and just took up space Most teachers honestly just used them as projectors, though my Latin teacher actually had us diagram sentences and stuff on them

did anybody else have a moment as a kid/teen where you suddenly realized that you were more than likely never going to have one of those big adventures that you read abt in YA novels. and u were going to just have a normal life with normal problems, and got real sad. and even tho u now see value in a regular life, part of you still wants magic powers and a rag tag group of ride-or-die friends who are out to save the world
