Give Good News to My Servants
فَبَشِّرْ عِبَادِ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقَوْلَ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ أَحْسَنَهُ أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ هَدَاهُمُ اللَّهُ وَأُولَئِكَ هُمْ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ
So give good news to My servants who listen to the word [of Allah] and follow the best [interpretation] of it. They are the ones whom Allah has guided, and it is they who possess intellect.
— Qur’an, Al-Zumar (39:17-18)
Cutting through bad arguments, distractions, and euphemisms to see murder for what it is.
“Our access to much of the world is through language alone. We only see our tiny sliver of the world with our own eyes, much of the rest of it has to be described in words or shown to us through images. That means it’s very easy to manipulate our perceptions. If you control the flow of information, you can completely alter someone’s understanding of the things that they can’t see firsthand.”
Punishment is a Promise, Punishment is a Mercy
"Do those who make evil schemes feel secure that Allah will not make the earth swallow them, or the punishment will not overtake them whence they are not aware?
Or that He will not seize them in the midst of their bustle, whereupon they will not be able to frustrate Him?
Or that He will not seize them amid panic?
Indeed your Lord is most kind and merciful."

“But many of us people, when we supplicate to God, we also look at our own capabilities. We also look at our friends, our communities, our family members. Then we also call on God.
These are the curtains that always need to be removed.

By the morning brightness,
by the night when it is calm!
Your Lord has neither forsaken you nor is He displeased with you,
and the Hereafter shall be better for you than the world.
Soon your Lord will give you [that with which] you will be pleased.
Did He not find you an orphan, and shelter you?
Did He not find you astray, and guide you?
Did He not find you needy, and enrich you?
So, as for the orphan, do not oppress him;
and as for the beggar, do not chide him;
and as for your Lord’s blessing, proclaim it!

The exegetists of the Qur'an emphasize the point that whenever the Qur'an mentions darkness, it always uses it in the plural form although it always uses light in its singular form. This means that the word, (darkness) includes all sorts of darkness, all of the evil ways that lead towards darkness, and that (light) signifies one single right path—the path of righteousness, whereas the ways of deviation and perversion are many.

Oh Allah, if I didn’t need You, would I still worship You?
“I ask from You love for You, and love for those who love You, and love for every action that will bring me nearness towards You…” [1]

“It is sufficient a matter of glory for me that I am Your servant.” [2]

Presence of the Heart in Prayer by Ayatullah Bahjat
How can one achieve presence of the heart in prayer?
Complete two actions together:
Ignore the satanic whisperings that appear against your will/self-control.
Whenever you attain focus/self-control during prayer, do not intentionally think of anything other than God.
In explaining this subject, Ayatullah Bahjat said:
"Shaytan wants mankind to intentionally think about other than God. If he sees that a person, when having control over her thoughts, doesn't think of other than God, he will leave her."
