While I don't exactly think that it's a sign that he's coming back (it might just be that the guys decided that the point had gotten across), I agree that it probs isn't a sign that there is some great, BIG conspiracy(tm) about him leaving.

Why is the official statement not enough for you? Joel has talked about dealing with extreme insomnia since 2021, do you really think that it wasn't the driving factor????????????
What is even the end goal here? Listen: I have been in the theater since I was little, and let me tell you that artists have NO sense of self preservation. I agree with @the-very-rubiest that more than likely what happened is that a doctor had to sit him down, look him in the eye, and say "THIS IS GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU".
My opinion is, for the months leading up to it (and ever since 2021), he clung to the belief that he could do it. That his insomnia would get better, or he could push through it, and not let it take away what he had worked so hard for. Like I said, artists have no sense of self preservation, so the timeline doesn't shock me AT ALL.
Also, do tell, if he was kicked out by the other members, why the hell would they still follow him on Instagram? Because they all still do. Do you think it's just for show, or something?????? Do you really think they would still follow him if they hated him???????
