My forearm tattoo has not prevented me from getting any jobs. When I got a part time job as a promoter, (which deals with interacting with masses of people) it didn't interfere at all.And now working full time at Chipotle, it still has no interference.If it were something negative, or derogatory, or "bad" then yes, it would make a huge difference in my job searching outcomes. But it's just a simple Polynesian tribal design

And just recently, I got some parts coloured in black, so it's more visible and noticeable but it has yet to impact my job or professionalism.

I don't regret getting it on my forearm. To be honest, it was an impulse tattoo LOL. I got it a few weeks before a job interview, though it would have been best to have waited, and if it had hindered my chances on getting hired, then of course it would have been my fault.

He basically asked me how did I feel like idk like I just told him everything really. How it all started, how I 'knew' I was transgender, my dysphorias and insecurities and id feel uncomfortable in certain situations such as speaking in public because I had a girly voice

It's really a one-on-one, face-to-face talk.He gives me a paper that has like a kind of check list and i fill that out. There are questions like 'when was the last time you consumed alcohol...have you used any testosterone enhancing herbs...when was the last time you smoked...etc etc'

Hey!I went to Fenway Health centre which is like a one stop shop for the LGBT community. They have a pharmacy, dentist, doctors, therapists even things like acupuncture therapy and message!But yeah I made an appointment to speak with a therapist there and after we spoke what he did was meet with a team of doctors to determine if I have GID and whether or not an if I can start TThhheeeeennn I met with my doctor and talked about stuff I don't remember if I started T the same day I talked to my doctor or not. If I didn't then it was very shortly afterThen it's all history! I'm currently just over 6 months on T and I'm as happy as can be

He wasn't there today to hear what she said luckily, he's already really insecure. I don't really get the whole "protecting her" thing either. I think maybe she thinks we were lying to her.
