Who I am:

I’m Historicli! A massive history and mythology fan, but also an artist and writer.

I really enjoy studying history and mythology. My favorite historical eras are:

The 16th-20th centuries

The ancient world

I also love writing fantasy and intertwining it with the stories I’m currently working on.

I also have a lot of ocs.

What I do:

Writing is more than a hobby for me, as is drawing. I usually draw my ocs as well as characters from mythology. I also tend to draw historical figures from time to time.

I’m currently working on two projects that have been published:

Together, we die.

This story can be found on Wattpad. It involves a time traveler, a missing friend and a few punches of fantasy here and there.

As for my unpublished works, I’m working on a webcomic.

Fleshing out a character can sometimes feel like a headache, but with this I hope I can make it the least bit easier! So start with a little detail, like Samantha really likes cake.

Did cake have any significance to her? Or was it just a food? Nope. She only had cake on her birthdays. Her broken, distant family would only come together and smile then. It was all so perfect to her for that one day.

So now she’s insecure. She does her best to keep people around to the point where it becomes overbearing, but she doesn’t know how not to cross the line. But when she eats cake, she remembers those happy times.

See what I did there? ;) so keep piling those little details! Even if it’s something like a wrist watch or maybe even a certain place or hobby!

No. 1: It’s never bad to write ahead—by that, I mean going forward and writing a certain plot point that happens in the future through. Like one you’ve been itching to do.

Think about about how it comes together and when you get back to writing where you were stuck, think of a way to add all the little details in that scene like sprinkles that all foreshadow the big scene.

(You can foreshadow in any way! Through objects, backgrounds, dialogue… like who said that before? Are they seriously back there??!)

Like you’re making a cake kinda.. also it’s cool when you finally reach that point to redo the big scene depending on what you’ve added!

Here I am with another post and redesign of my oc!

Emilian (former name Anthony) Lavigne-Barerre came from Paris to England at 16. He has a passion for writing and loves reading poetry! He also longs to understand the world around him and the people in it too!

Another thing he loves is the countryside since he’s never actually really been out of the city. When it comes to writing he just goes with the flow. It either becomes a word salad or a gorgeous masterpiece.

I worked really hard on this drawing but I kinda had to rush through it at the end so it may look a but funny. But here’s Elliot and Eleanore, a match made in heaven.

So I came up with ANOTHER stupid comic idea just to put my feet in the water and have a little fun. Making comics is actually a job for me.

This is my very (loose) take on Wadjet. The more serious out of the two sisters and goddess of lower egypt. I’m planning to use a lot of the myths in the comic Im thinking about making. It’ll be cool, hopefully :)
