How was your formation on historiography? Here in my college we have 3 subjects (i don’t know if that’s how you say it) on Historiography- intro to historical studies, 19th century historiographical thought, and 20th century historiographical thought. How’s it on American colleges?

Most of the historiography of specific subfields of history is taught in classes within that subfield (e.g. American Civil War historiography is largely taught in an elective course called Civil War and Reconstruction).
