"Ask, Seek, Knock" - Matthew 7:7-11

(His24-7.com)   Romans 1:18-32 We often claim we need "more proof" to believe in God, but Paul suggests our problem isn't a lack of evidence—it’s a lack of desire. We avoid or suppress the truth because if God is real, He is Lord, and if He is Lord, we are not.

(His24-7.com)    Conflict can be either glue or a wedge in a relationship.  I all depends on how you handle it.

(His24-7.com)  Last week, we discovered that selfishness is the root beneath every single relationship problem. It’s what starts the friction. Today, we are talking about the silent killer. If selfishness starts the problem, neglect is what eventually kills the relationship.

(His24-7.com)   We are starting a new message series that is going to pull the curtain back on 5 things that could be called “Love Killers.” Five of the biggest things that destroy our relationships.    • Next week: We’ll talk about neglect. We are talking about selfishness, because selfishness is the underlying sin beneath almost every other relationship problem.

(His24-7.com)   Jesus summarized the entire Law and Prophets with two commandments: love God and love your neighbor. In doing so, He revealed what life is really about.

(His24-7.com) Let me try to rephrase this passage as if Jesus were speaking it to us today.“As you are going daily with Me, do not forget to invite people to learn more about Me. As you go on vacation, to work, to the gym, to visit your friends, to pay your taxes. Let your walk with Me be so natural and part of your everyday speech that people feel free to talk openly about faith and life.  Let your identity as my disciple be so real that it splashes on everyone around you. Flood the world with the love of the Triune God.Show people what it is like to obey my teaching. Let the love of God be the rule of your life. Remember, I’m always with you as we walk this messy life together.”

(His24-7.com)  Why were they there that day?  Because they were doing what Jesus told them to do.

(His24-7.com) Weighed down with heavy burdens of fatigue, guilt, anxiety, perfectionism, responsibilities and mistakes? Jesus promises a way to rest in the middle of all the busyness. And it’s probably not what you’d expect.

(His24-7.com) What have you worried about today? Chances are, the list is pretty long. Did you know Jesus promises us that we don’t have to worry? How is that even possible? Understanding this promise from Him can transform the way you approach your concerns and give you the relief you’re looking for.

(His24-7.com)   What’s weighing on you right now? With so much happening in the world and our lives, having a peaceful mind can feel impossible. While Jesus doesn’t promise a trouble-free life, He does promise you a path to peace. That’s what this message is about.
