Okay I really hate to be the one who spread the bad news but argh here you go. (and I’m sorry I didn’t do it earlier because I’m too tired and I need more time you think about this matter)

Namikawa Daisuke was found out to had an affair relationship with a contract employee, “A-ko” of a private office operated by himself for many years, in an interview with “Weekly Bunshun”.

Namidai deeply apologized on Stay Luck official website for making noise at the private affair. He also said that he confused himself that he is in such a situation, but will continue to devote more and more to the recovery of trust from you guys , so please continue with guidance and encouragement.

He neither deny or admit it on that apologize.. But according to Bunshun report, Namidai said that the relationship had already ended when that women entered his company. So that means… It’s true. He DID cheated.

As you all know, Namidai has a wife and 2 children out of that marriage.

In this situation… I can’t hide my feeling of sadness towards this issue.

For me, instead of say that I love him, I really really respect Namidai a lot. Despite of being a dorky funny old man, Just like Kamiya-san, Namidai are one of the professional seiyuu that carrier out their job successfully without getting any private matter involved in any of their job.

But seeing that Bunshun article(same publisher that dig out kenshou and Hayakawa private life) about Namidai’s private life… Is the last this I can expect.. And I wish they will stop getting involved with seiyuu private life.

All I can said is.. Everyone make mistakes. Just like yochin-paisen always reminds us, “Seiyuu are just a mere human too”. Maybe Namidai realized that was a mistake and ended the relationship. I don’t know…

Before, I always thought that Namidai’s life is so perfect. I watched the show that reveal his schedule from the early morning to late night. And yes, it was so tight. And I thought myself, “How do this person even have time to spend with his family?”. And actually keeping that marriage until now, I thought that Namidai is really an amazing person.

But after saw this article… It’s really hit me. Huh… I guess it’s not perfect as it seems it is.

Call me weird of anything, but I actually glad to know that Namidai is not perfect. Because for me, seiyuu is something out of my reach, even if we try to follow them. It’s make me happy knowing that Namidai are just a regular person who also makes mistakes. Just like we do.

But I’m not saying that we should just slide it out. He did what he did and What he did is WRONG. Just thinking about the people who get caught in this conflict are hurting, it breaks my heart.

But I’m sure Namidai loves his family. I don’t know about you guys but he always give me that fatherly feeling whenever I watched him. So I think Namidai are also trying his best to make up his mistakes.

For us fans…? Let’s just keep giving him support because.. I’m sure that’s what he needs the most now.

For me, I try to not let this matter change anything but aww I think it does have infect on me. But I still want to support him! I just hope the best for you, Namidai.

There was a lot of shit going on related to this, but I’ll try to keep it as relevant to Irino as possible.

Day 3

The first of his 2 autograph sessions at AX. Waited in line since 1 am or so with a few friends (tickets to autograph sessions distributed at 8). Got essentially waitlisted tickets (standby), but we were pretty high up on the waitlist so no problem; guests of honor typically allow standby ticket holders to get autographs anyway. My friends and I get in the standby line when it’s time. Guest of Honor staff comes to us and says “Irino will not be signing for any standby”. Staffer tells me, my friends, and the two others at the top of the waitlist that we can wait and see if any priority ticket holders don’t show up. Second staffer appears and says no, “these are orders from Irino himself: he will not sign for any standby, regardless of whether all priority people show up or not”. He does not come out until all standby are gone. Later, I find out that 7+ people cut the line when tickets were being distributed, and my friends and I could’ve gotten priority if not for them, but I digress. I decide to wait in line a second day in a row, only earlier, this time.

Day 4

Waited in autograph line for 8 hours. DIGRESSION (I need to give someone recognition, please skip if you don’t care): Almost get kicked out by low ranking security staff that don’t know the convention is going on. Line neighbor guy behind me stands up for us all, and we all start chiming in until they call their superiors and go away when they realize their mistake. Near ticket distribution time, new line cutters appear. I get pissed as fuck, point this shit out to my line neighbors and they promise to back me up if I need it. Autograph line control shows up, I decide to suck it up and drag my new line homies to get rid of the line cutters. Line neighbor behind me was a scalper, so he’s off doing his own thing while we go talk to line control. We explain the situation, along w scalper guy who joins in a little later, and eventually they offer to help us file a report, but we’d have to leave the line and chance of autograph tickets if we did. Scalper guy, who knows we all got fucked my the line cutters, takes one for the team and goes to file the report. I’m eternally grateful to him. DIGRESSION END Autograph session time rolls around again. Staffer goes down the line, telling us no photography or physical touch (handshakes, hugs, whatever). No problem, that’s standard esp for Japanese guests. Line starts moving. I see some people running down the exits, and kinda wonder what’s going on. One bothers to stop and advise us: “Irino won’t sign anything that isn’t from anime or a video game.” Meaning no nice autograph boards, none of his CD’s, no photo prints or anything else. You could go out and buy something, and bring it back for him to sign, or take a poster he’d signed ahead of time. Not even signed in front of you. Line moves up some more. Staffer near the front, confirming our tickets, says Irino won’t accept gifts either. I ask if he’ll at least accept fan letters. She says no as well.

The actual autograph experience lasts no more than 10 seconds. Otherwise pretty normal.

There were significantly more famous guests this year and previous years, who were 1000 times more respectful to fans than he was, so I don’t know where you or he gets off being so self important.

I also used to work for this convention, and my ex co-workers who now work directly with guests of honor said he was acting like a diva–which I don’t think takes much thinking to know that that means something pretty damn bad, out of all the other Guests of Honor that have been hosted this year.

Dedicated to him alone? He had those.

Her schedule was a lot less chaotic than his so already she was planning on taking care of the simpler things like making breakfast, lunch and supper for the both of them to make sure that he at least had some sustenance to keep him going. Kahoko would enjoy doing something for him for a change since he always seemed to be taking care of her.

She could hear the hidden message behind his words, telling her not to worry, but it was not something that could be helped really. He was an important friend after all and she cared about his well-being but she would nonetheless attempt to set his mind at ease. There was always the old fail safe excuse of having homework to do…

Giving him a reassuring smile, she gave him an enthusiastic response in the hopes that he would understand that his unspoken message had been received.

"Thank you," was the only thing he managed to mutter before staring at his cat, who apparently grew tired of playing with his ball of yarn. Maybe he's also tired of being the only feline in the residence, which he suddenly had an idea on what to do.
