i feel like the excitement of FR updates went down the shitter when they decided nothing was going to be a surprise anymore. Imagine how cool it would have been to drop a new ancient in a giant plot without... telling us beforehand, handing out scrolls and announcing everything ahead of time. that’s all the “i need the new thing NOWWWWWW” crowd has achieved

chaotic evil is mods prompting newbies to post in the suggestions forums knowing full well everyone there is mentally ill, aggressive and hate any and all change. id say its funny but its not 

i love staff making such a big deal of listening to player feedback. people eat that stuff up but its also, extremely funny because it makes it extremely painfully evident that theyre ignoring all feedback that isn’t a quick effortless fix ie: coliseum captchas (so poorly made that people are locked out of the coliseum constantly) and other borderline ableist things/things that put the visually impaired at a disadvantage. still funny that their idea of descriptive captions were things like “fiona with a new buddy” until someone had to tell them what captions were actually for. lol

the people who want to change retired/KS items to make them much easier to obtain are also the ones who usually want said items an unhealthy amount. wanting something an unhealthy, obsessive amount is extremely overlooked on FR. you make a huge articulate post about how you deserve but can’t have Expensive Thing in the suggestions forum and EVERYONE overlooks the Unhealthy Obsession factor, even the devs. yes i have a skycat, yes you probably want it more than i do, but your life revolves around FR an unhealthy amount while mine does not. you are so hell bent on changing the rules to get something that doesn’t matter because your life is heavily impacted by not having a specific familiar when 1000+ others are available.
