I don’t agree with this lowk… even without the tapes, people have still copied D + E. I feel like not revealing the tapes right away will make it even more dangerous. If they had just released the tapes when they found them it wouldn’t be as important nowadays or back then probably. It would’ve been shocking yes, but considering the difference in media from back then till now, kids probably wouldn’t be as inspired by it than they would be now. Kids are genuinely getting dumber and dumber. If they are to ever release the basement tapes now, it’ll be big media, I mean, one of the most popular shootings in the world coming back into the light is definitely going to introduce more teenagers and kids into this topic and community because of TikTok and quite possibly yes create more perps, and I haaaaate it. I mean, the transcripts are out so what’s the point of never revealing the actual tapes anyways I WANT THEM OUT I WANT TO SEE THE TAPES PLEASE
