final post about this for now, but the way 13 sends them all out before confronting the dalek? because it’s personal, and maybe, just maybe, because she knows that dalek will recognize her and she doesn’t really want to have to explain to her friends, to her fam, to the best of humanity, why that alien psychopath, who’s basically indestructible and hell bent on destroying everything in its path, why that hateful, horrifying creature, that thing, recoils in fear when it recognizes the doctor
