Love to me is rainbows, and glitter but also wrecking balls and machine guns.

It’s finding serendipity in your partners eyes, and their arms are your serenity. It’s having your heart race at the sound of their voice, and your palms being sweaty long before you even hold their hand.

Love is waking up 20 minutes before they do to make them coffee and knowing exactly how they take it. It’s leaning over to kiss them awake even though they have morning breath that could kill plants, but even that couldn’t stop you.

Love is when you open the windows while it’s raining, even though you may be cold you know that the sound makes them happy so you do it anyway. It’s having a tug-o-war fight over the blankets at night and getting so frustrated you get up to get another, rather than taking it away from them.

Love is making sure they take their vitamins/medications every morning and night. It’s holding their hair while they’re hunched over a toilet, and getting them water in the middle of the night. Its making sure they have eaten, and making them food when they have not.

Love is colors that do not exist, and words that do not make sense. It’s finding solitude in their presence, and clarity in their soul. Becoming one, in the most emotional of ways. Having deep conversations at 3am when you know you both should be sleeping, but you’d rather loose sleep than miss a second of learning about them and how their mind ticks.

Love is caring and nurturing your partner. It’s planting seeds in the cracks of their heart, so one day with all the love you shower them in-those seeds will blossom into a beautiful masterpiece.

Love is euphoric, love is messy, love is lustful-it’s energetic, exciting, adventurous, and peaceful.

Love is everything you have every dreamed of it to be jumbled up inside of a human being.
