[ItDaily StarIN Rrpoerter Park Hyuntaek] Among the reports that one member of the group BAP is under police investigations for indecent harassment of a woman of 20s, BAP’s side(TS) has revealed that the member in question is HImchan and rose in argument.
On the 9th the company TS Entertainment has revealed a news release stating that “BAP Himchan has received a police investigation once due to a misunderstanding caused in a location where he was invited by an acquaintance and company” and “although there has been reports that the case was forwarded to the prosecution office to a police recommendation of indictment, currently, the assertions of parties differ and more investigations are necessary.” They continued, “We will follow through properly with the investigations and reveal once more our statement when the case has been completed.”
The police station of Gyeonggi Namyang-ju has revealed on the 9th that BAP member A is under investigation for suspicion of indecent harassment. (Member) A was under suspicion for having gone to a pension early last month at Namyangju-si and harassed a woman in their 20s. The female in question has stated to the police that “Including (member) A, there were 3 males and 3 females that went to the pension together and (member) A forcibly assaulted/harassed (me).” Currently, (member) A is denying such accusation. At the time, it has been revealed that there were no other BAP members in the pension.
The police are to forward the case to the prosecution office once the investigation has completed.
A person in relation to the police has stated that “We cannot state anything official about the case due to the assertions of both sides being different,” and that “(From what I know) both sides are currently trying to find a settlement.”
Himchan has debuted in 2011 through MTV Korea THE SHOW has promoted in as a member of BAP.
