Carys knew exactly what he was doing, yet she had always been powerless against that pout that he had inherited from his mother. Rolling her eyes as a smile started blossoming across her lips, she opened her arms. “Fine. If you say so… Ven, mi niño. Give your abuela a hug. Or a million. I’ve missed you so much. You have so many things to tell me and I want to hear everything. Everything, okay? And you better not make empty promises, I’m not above tracking you down and dragging you out by the ear of whatever fancy shoot or party you are at.” 

There was no hesitation as Wes walked up and hugged Carys. He hugged her tight, like he always did when hugging his grandma and his mom. "I will happily give you a million hugs. I'll cling onto you and make you carry my around like when I was little." A grin spread across his face at the memory. "I've missed you so much too. It kills me that I've been so busy with work that I couldn't come see you." He still hasn't let her go from the hug. "I'm find, I'm just getting more shoots than I usually get. Which I guess is goo but also bad because that means less time to spend with my amazing abuela. You don't have to worry about empty promises. I'm going to be visit more. Another reason I haven't been around is because I know you have been busy dealing with an omega."

She was walking in space in this moment, he skin prickling up at the sensation of his hands on her, the idea that maybe this wasn’t going to end poorly. “I say, I would love that.” She beams at him, a giggle following as the future plays out in her head. Though, she was sure this feeling might be fleeting, and maybe after tonight he’d change his mind, she decided to just let herself be happy in the moment, and take him for face value. After all, what did she really have to lose. “I know this really cute spot, they do a lot of like Salsa and Tango nights if that’s more your style.”

He was leaning in and she couldn’t help but quickly close the gap between their lips. Arms now fully wrapped around his neck, her heart fluttered and she could feel the welcomed blush run across her cheeks. First kisses were the best feeling, but she hoped there would be more kisses to come. Micah pulled away a moment later, gazing up at him, trying to gauge his reaction, hoping that this wasn’t just the moon. 

Beautiful. It’s a word used to describe Micah by even the worst of people, because beauty was the one thing that hadn’t left her even in the darkest of hours. It’s normally a word that hits her in the stomach, sucks every bit of confidence out of her but tonight the intention behind ‘beautiful’ seemed pure. Genuine. She stumbles for a response, and instead giggles and looks at the ground for a moment before looking back up at Wes. “Thank you.” She bites on her bottom lip, seeing the flick of his eyes, wondering if she should take the plunge first. 

“It’s super fun! It’s really easy too, it’s all one base step.” She smiled, laughing a bit at his comment. It shouldn’t have been funny, the fact he asked shouldn’t have been as noticed as it was but those were more things she kept to herself just as she always would. “Oh for sure! You’ll definitely know.” She nodded, knowing full well that wasn’t true. For now, she just danced to the beat, every so often using Wes to spin herself around and partner dance more. Adoration normally came in other forms, so the innocence of just being held was new and welcomed in the moment. Her free arm draped the best it could around his neck as he pulled her closer, a bright smile on her face as she shook some hair out of her face. 

“Oh that’s so cool! I can like… Swing dance and do a little bit of ballet but nothing super fancy.” She laughed, finding the beat of the music, drink cup closer  to her to keep any weirdos from trying to take it or be gross. “No of course! You are free to touch me whenever.” She smiled up at him, her free hand reaching out and taking one of his to place it on her waist. Being bold was something typically in her nature, but she usually needed a little more alcohol in her to be on her current level. She was for sure going to blame the moon later, but for now she was just having fun and drinking in the attention and affection. 

"You are definitely going to have to show me how to swing dance. I've always wanted to learn how to." Wes smiled, getting the consent he needed to tough Micah. He moved his other hand to rest on the other side of her waist. “Let me know if I ever do something you don’t like.” He would stop whatever it was he was doing immediately. He would hate to make Micah uncomfortable.  Normally, just dancing would be fun to Wes. Tonight, it was hard to focus on anything but the feeling of his hands on Micah's body and how incredibly hot she looked in her dress. It was hard to find off the lust that threatened to fog his brain. He didn't notice that he was pulling her closer until she was flushed against him. 

After some of the shit she’d been witness to tonight, she needed to be obliterated if they were going to stay. Micah’s head tilted curiously as he let out some knowledge about wolves and their habits. “I take it they’re your favorite animal?” She teased with a laugh. She knew a few things about various animals, but nothing that she could recite on demand. 

“Yes! I would love to dance! Show me what you got!” She beamed, happily grabbing his hand and leading him to a more open area where they could dance together. Micah loved dancing more than she loved running and that said a lot. Keeping her glass steady as she moved to the music, she smiled brightly at Wes, watching him show off his amazing moves. 

A chuckle left Wes' lips at Micah's question. "Sure, you can say that." Little did she know that there was more to it than being his favorite animal. He finished off his drink in one go and set down his glass.

He followed Micah over to an open area of the dance floor. "I was taught how to dance by my grandma. I'm not all that bad at dancing but play some Latin music and my real skills come out." He began to dance to the beat of the music. Inching forward until he was right in front Micah. He wanted to reach out and out his hands on her hips but not without consent. "Would it be okay if I touched you? Ya know, like while we dance? Feel free to say no." Even with the blood moon affecting him, he still knew better than to touch someone without asking.

“Well, lucky me, I’m very good at that.” A coy smile played on her face, with a hint of guilt in her stomach. Bitter thoughts threatened to crash her mood so she warded them off with a chuckle and swiping a drink off a tray being offered. “Mhmm. It’s weird they look so small in photos. Super cool to hear them howl in person though, it was actually really beautiful.” She continued. 

“Hopefully you don’t have to find out.” She shot back, taking a sip from her glass, nodding at the answer. “Good answer.” She nodded. “Correct answer was Gingersnaps, but you get points for enjoying the classics.” Micah bounced a little bit as she recognized a song, humming along to the lyrics. 

Wes raised his eyebrows in response to Micah's words. It was good to know she was comfortable with his flirting and even flirted back. He grabbed a drink of his own off the tray. He really wasn't a big drink but wouldn't mind a couple tonight. "Howling is how they communicate at long distances. They are pretty interesting creatures. They find a mate and stay with them for life." Wes felt like that was romantic. There wasn't really anything they had to do in order to mate like werewolves. You just found your mate and stuck with them.

"Good to know I got some points." Wes chuckled, sipping from his own drink. He noticed Micah dancing. "Want to go dance?" He asked, motioning towards where there looked to be a dance floor. There were already tons of people dancing there. "I can finally show you my amazing moves."

There was something about feeling wanted that was incomparable to any other feeling. Sure, in therapy she was supposed to be working on not putting her value into the attention she received, and she’d come a long way, but even after all that work? Attention just felt good. “Better watch it, they’ll be mine.” She finally teased with a smile, nodding at his question. “Love wolves! They’re so much bigger in person though? Like I’ve seen coyotes but never a wolf in person, and they’re massive.” She noted, a short laugh leaving as she thought about the memory. 

“Oh? Are you more of an 80′s werewolf guy? Like… Michael J Fox Teen Wolf era?” She asked, trying to think of other werewolf movies. “Or are you more of the Gingersnaps werewolf believer? And you should answer correctly because this is a make or break question.” Micah continued to tease, playfully poking his chest with her index finger, eyebrow quirked up. 

"You'll have to figure out a way to get them off me first." His words came out as a playful flirt. He was glad to know she loved wolves. It might make the fact that he was one a lot easier for her to process. That would be something to tell her another time. "They are huge." He nodded, knowing regular size wolves were small compared to his kind.

"What exactly happens if I answer it wrong?" Wes questioned, raising an eyebrow. "But to answer said question, I like both of them. However, Michael J Fox in Teen Wolf is my personal favorite. Gingersnaps is pretty good but can’t beat Teen Wolf.”

Micah dressed herself to be a walking thirst trap and to see it was working was an absolute delight. Receiving the attention she craved was just an added bonus onto the night and it lifted her mood even higher. She was absolutely feeling herself in the dress and the make up and the extravagance of the party. She laughed and did a little spin for Wes, letting the skirt float around her legs before coming to a stop. “Thanks! It’s been sitting in our wardrobe closet at work for months now so I figured I’d take it out for a spin. No one’s worn it since and it deserves to be out.” She nodded. 

“I do love the pants though, they look super comfy.” And he better be careful because Micah had a bad habit of stealing comfy looking clothing, but she kept that to herself. No need to freak him out just yet. “The mask is cool too! I once got to pet a wolf in Washington. They had this like, wolf sanctuary tour? It was super cool because it was also close to Forks where they shot Twilight.” 

Wes' eyes never left Micah's body as she did a spin. It took everything in him to even meet her eyes. "It's a beautiful dress and it fits you perfectly." Luckily his brain was still functioning enough to have a casual conversation. He was surprised his brain was even working when it felt like all the blood in his body was flowing elsewhere.

"They are super comfy." He adjusted his pants a bit in hopes that his arousal wasn't obvious. The whole blood moon was making him feel like a teenager again. "Oh, so I take it you like wolves then?" He hoped she liked wolves. Things would be very awkward if she didn't. The mention of Twilight made her chuckle. "They got werewolves so wrong in that movie." He stated, not even thinking about his words as he spoke.

Interview? Completed. Tiddies? In place. Legs? Out. Micah was absolutely in the mood tonight and it seemed she was in good company. Most people were in good spirits, though she witnessed a few people squaring up, but she figured that wasn’t her business and quickly went on her way to find Wes. Though he’d invited her along, her interview also got her into the party and she was just excited to finally see him. She smoothed out her dress a little bit, checking her phone and looking around to see if she’d made it to the right spot. The estate was huge. Beautiful, designed with lush gardens and different stones to fit the different sections but Micah for once kept her judgements aside. 

The skirt of the dress swished as she walked, heels clicking against the stone as she made her way through the people. The corners of her lips quirked up into a smile as she spotted Wes, making her way up to him, moving her hair out of her face and making a few small adjustments. “Hey! Look at you!” She laughed as she stood back to look him over. He didn’t have the same full outfit a lot of people had, but she was definitely digging the pants. “Love the pants and the mask!” 

The moon was already affecting Wes, he felt was trying his best to stay calm. He was trying his best to keep his wolf side under control. Running a few laps outside to get out some energy. Tonight was going to be interesting. His family would probably lecture him about inviting a human to an event like this. She mentioned having interviews. Meaning she likely already going to be there. Wes getting to see her was just an added bonus. He just needed to keep it together and not wolf out. It was hard and might end up impossible once the moon was at the highest point in the sky. That was a problem for him to deal with later. For now, he was going to have a fun time. 

Looking around, his eyes landed on Micah, his eyes immediately checking out her outfit. Damn, she looked good in what she was wearing. He wouldn’t mind seeing her out of sigh outfit. Shaking the thought from his head. He made his way over to her. “Look at me? Look at you! You’re whole outfit is out to kill. Seriously, I’m going to drop dead just looking at you.”

“We can definitely do that! Maybe some voice lessons.” She wiggled her eyebrows at him, a bubbly laugh following. “Same though. Vegas would eat us alive if we tried to count cards or hustle the house.” She mused, nodding thoughtfully as Wes spoke. “Skateboarding, huh?” Micah questioned, reaching out and opening the door as they got to the bar. “Can you do crazy tricks or are you more a casual rider?” Her brother had been into skateboarding for awhile, she was never able to get the hang of it, so it was a wonder to her. “Alright Pool Master, teach me your ways.” She laughed again as she lead him to the back of the bar, taking a pool stick off the wall and waiting for him. 

"I actually can already sing pretty well. I even play a bit of guitar for fun." Wes mentioned a fact he didn't talk all that much about. Most people knew him as a pretty face and hot body but he had other talents. "I don't even really understand how counting cards work. Just thinking about it makes my head hurt." A chuckle left his lips as he walked into the bar. "I can do a handful of tricks but I get yelled at by my manager if I ever get injured." He healed fast but not fast enough when he fell riding his skateboard to work. "Alright, first we have to break. Which I will do." The balls were already set up to play. Taking the cue ball, Wes leaned over and aimed. "Getting a good break is important. It sets the tempo of the game. You want to aim for the center for a clean break." He hit the cue ball and hit the center to cleanly breaking the balls. One of the balls went into the pocket. He aimed the cue ball again, pocketing a solid ball. "I'm solids, your stripes." He missed his next shot, turning to Micah. "It's your turn, let's see what you got. I'll help you out from there." He stepped off the the side to let her take her shot.

“Maybe I can teach you! When I’m not, like, fully hammered. It’s super easy.” She nodded, walking alongside him as they made their way to the bar. “Gotcha, a big shame. You could take that skill to Vegas and do some damage.” She continued to tease as they went along their way. “Kudo’s on you though, it’s hard to stick to a skill long enough to master it.” She commented, looking up at him with a grin.

“I would love to learn how to dance better. Right now it’s a lot of just shimming.” Wes did another little shoulder shimmy. “I am awful at lying. I wouldn’t be able to hustle anyone. They would read right through my nonexistent poker face.” He shoved his hands in his pockets as he walked. “I like to learn new things and stick to it until I’ve mastered it. I did the same with skateboarding. I broke many bones when learning. Now I hardly fall on my butt.”
