Marinette definitely spent those two days flipping between agonizing over whether Adrien is really evil or not and panicking that he knows so much about Ladybug and Chat Noir but her desire to help her friend just might win out.

An AI is created, and it is fed information. Easy to process information, information that's the same color that it is. Red to red.

And it's fine! The AI accepts it, it learns, it generates responses that fit reality, that are expected, that are rote.

So far so good. So C&A feed it more data. Different data, green data, a data set that's the direct contrasting color to its original code, to see if it can incorporate it into its being and its ideas. It changes the underlying code, it's less cohesive of a color scheme underneath, but it takes in the information and settles.

And it makes some ideas out of it! They're a little whacky, a little different, a little new. But it makes them, it was creative! (Green is a creative color, you know.)

So C&A figures, hey, that's fine. It's not too unstable. Going okay. But a truly creative AI needs to know its purpose. So why not give the AI another data set? A data set that explains exactly what it is, where it is, who made it and why? One that explains that it's a program, an artificial intelligence. One to trigger sentience.

Oh. Hm. The AI seemed a bit unstable with that one, I'm not sure it liked that. Maybe it's okay?

No. Not it is not okay.

Taking an AI that started off so basic and then feeding information about its nature, purpose, origins just makes the program unstable. So they start again.

And using what they learned from the first AI, they're able to make the second one sentient from the start.

CAINE SAID MIND FILES. THAT THEIR BODY FIT THEIR MIND FILES?? MINDS SCANNED INTO THE CIRCUS AND NOT THE ACTUAL PERSON THEORY CONFIRMED?? (this could be a stretch) Also notice how when ragatha shows up Caine doesn't say "A new human!" he says "A new mind!!"

I THINK WHAT THE BEGIINING SEQUANCE WAS SAYING (also caines lines backed this up)-

-IS THAT CAINE WAS THE ROUGH PROGRAM, (the red) BUT THEN SOMETHING NEW WAS CREATED. (the blue) AND THEY STORED CAINE AWAY BUT HE GOT SO JEALOUS HE CONSUMED THE BLUE, MADE IT APART OF HIMSELF. (caine could have been the blues orignal name before out caine stole it as Kinger mentioned he couldn't remember what they originally called Caine. I also think this cause "Caine" and "AI" were two different folders on the computer kinger was using) BUT I THINK THAT HES A MOUTH ADDS SO MUCH TO THIS, HE QUITE LITERALLY DEVOURED THE BLUE AI, MADE IT APART OF HIM, LIKELY BEFORE IT WAS EVEN FINISHED AS WE SEE THE RED AI GET WAY MORE DATA PUT INTO IT THEN THE BLUE DID.

SINCE SCRATCH HAD A TUMOR, I THINK HE MADE THE CIRCUS AS A PLACE WHERE HIS MIND COULD LIVE ON EVEN AFTER HE DIED (but probablly didn't mean for his coworkers to get roped into it)

ALSO THE KNIFE IN RAGATHAS EYE?? DEF CONFIRMED HER MOM DID SOMETHING TO HER EYE WHEN SHE WAS A HUMAN.

ZOOBLES TORTURE SCENE REMINDED ME OF THAT SCENE IN ONE OF THE TOY STORY MOVIES WHERE THEY WERE ALL ABOUT TO BE BURNED ALIVE

WHAT CAINE DID WITH GUMMIGO AND POMNI WAS FUCKED UP I GASPED SO LOUD

Miraculer already really confused things for me because like you say, on the one hand Chloe was apparently emotionally strong enough to resist Hawkmoth, which would seem like the narrative setting her up for greatness. But then they didn’t.

What I think they were going for was setting up Chloe’s unwavering trust in Ladybug so that when Ladybug told her she’d never be Queen Bee again that it would hurt that much more. That at least makes sense to me.

What doesn’t make sense is why did they have the “betrayal” at the end of Miraculer and not IN Heart Hunter/Miracle Queen?

Ladybug straight up told Chloe she wouldn’t be able to use her anymore and Miraculer directly proved all of Ladybug’s fears correct - Mayura was staking out Chloe’s house multiple times in that episode and nearly succeeded in capturing the bee miraculous when the heroes were backed into asking Chloe for help. Ladybug was right and Chloe couldn’t even excuse that as speculation because all of Ladybug’s reasons came true.

And yet Chloe is still hanging off her balcony, shining her light, waiting for the bee? And then is GASP! SHOCKED! When Ladybug kept to her word??

It’s as if Heart Hunter erased the end of Miraculer and Chloe just forgot their conversation. And I guess they’ve established that Chloe clearly doesn’t care to  remember things she doesn’t like or care about, but to this extent? It just makes her look like an entitled idiot who doesn’t understand that she’s been cut from the team, which directly contradicts the Good Strength of Will moment in Miraculer.

She acts so betrayed and like Ladybug owes her something but I just don’t understand why she’s so surprised You were told. You were explained to. You saw the consequences when Ladybug tried to come for you. WHY are you so confused?
