I was arguing with an anti about this a couple days ago and kept thinking about it, so I just wanted to put my 2 cents in.

Colt was not religious, or at the very least he didn’t believe in Christianity at all, which is obvious… this person kept saying “He has a cross,” “Religion of peace,” and all sorts of stuff about how what he did didn’t align with being a Christian. It’s true, but that is also because he wasn’t one.

If you knew anything about Colt whatsoever, he’d literally detest Christianity, referring to God with quotation marks. He ditched his cross necklace and swapped it out with a Hamsa. I mean it’s still used by Christians but also many other religions too. I haven’t really heard of other Religions using a cross… but maybe I am wrong. So take that with a grain of salt.

I believe that he stopped believing in God because he felt almost defeated, if that makes sense. Like, he probably would pray to become better or for help but it would never come. I’m not saying that’s exactly what happened but it’s very common between ex-believers. I believe that at the time of the attack he was probably an atheist or something of that sort…
