The first time you met Gaz was pretty refreshing, being one of the younger people in 141. Your first impression of Price and Gaz was like an uncle raising his nephew (The banter was the cherry on top.)

After a bit of working together, your comfort levels increase– especially with Gaz. It was inevitable that you'd one day be included in between the uncle and nephew talks, but good god poor Price.

In short, he doesn't get you young people (even if hes only a little under a decade older, what the hell do you and Gaz mean by favorite spoons to use?)

Actually, lets run that conversation back

y/n: I'm in a dining room, I think.

Price: Alright, dig through anything important.

y/n: Will do... this person has awful taste in silverware

Gaz: How so? Are there only soup spoons?

y/n: No, but they're too decorated to the point where it's annoying.

Price: What are you on about, eh?

y/n: Don't you have that one piece of silverware you dislike, cap?

Price: No, I don't think so?

Gaz: I think the forks I have at home are a bit too round for my taste.

y/n: That's unfortunate. I think mine are too sharp on the handle.

Price: ??? y/n, did you find anything?

Poor guy, really. It got even worse when the same mishaps that happen to either you or Gaz seem to repeat after one experiences an issue. Shortly after the helicopter incident, you had the unfortunate occurance of being in the same position. The first thing you heard on your radio was your capitain screaming something about 'Not this shit again' and 'Gaz, tell her what to fucking do!' (he did though– out of experience.)

Price was stressed to the core after that happened. One near death helicopter incident was enough, two was something else.

Occasionally Price understands the hyperspecific conversations you and Gaz have, but he ends up getting confused once it takes some weird turn. Example being the topic of animals. It started off with what childhood pets you had then ended off with 'Do other animal species understand each other?'
