If you are a black driver in USA, you should immediately install a dash cam facing the interior of your car.
Iâm about to do that
This is one that has a built in mic and films both inside and outside the car with a rotating lens with night vision and saves footage on an SD card. Â
Itâs fairly low profile too (fits over your rear-view mirror) so even if a cop tries to take your phone, they may not notice it. Â If the shit goes down with iPhone blocking people taking video, it wouldnât affect this.
Itâs good for car insurance claims as well.

Anti-Vegan Arguments Debunked: Masterpost
Since it seems that every vegan is expected to constantly defend themselves regardless of their willingness or ability, I have created a list of what I consider to be the twenty most commonly used anti-vegan arguments and their rebuttals. These arguments are not intended to convert anyone, but to assist vegans who may struggle to defend themselves for whatever reason, whether it be cognitive difficulties, a lack of time to do the research required, or just not being naturally gifted debaters. You are free to reproduce these, copy and paste them, link them on your own site or post them elsewhere with or without credit.Â
Eating animals is normal.
Eating animals is natural.
Eating animals is necessary.
Eating animals is a personal choice.
Eating animals is part of our culture/heritage.
Eating animals is ethical because it is legal.
Eating animals is okay so long as they are killed humanely.
It is okay to eat animals because we are top of the food chain.
Humans have always eaten animals.
Animals are bred to be eaten.
Plants are alive/ feel pain too.
Poor people canât go vegan.
It is impossible to be 100% vegan.
Going vegan wonât save animals.
If we didnât eat animals they would overpopulate/ go extinct.
God made animals to be eaten.
Humans are more important than animals.
Going vegan would put farmerâs jobs/ the economy at risk.
There isnât enough land/water for everyone to go vegan.
Veganism ignores human suffering.

One tree falling, 3 calls to the utility company, and 26 hours later and my power is still off.
The number of teenage boys Iâve seen getting shit from their âfriendsâ for going vegan is ridiculous. Stay strong in fighting the pressure to be âreal menâ by pretending not to care about anything.Â
Iâm doing a thing.
UPDATE: Mark Hughes, whoâs face & information was put all over the news & media accused of being the suspect who shot the Dallas police officers, speaks out after him & his brother Cory L. Hughes were released after being held in custody.
#BlackLivesMatter #RiseUp
Damn they lied through they teeth in an attempt to get an innocent man to take the fall. AND SHOULD BE REPRIMANDED in some form or fashion.
Pro-tip: police are allowed legally to lie their asses off to you to try and get you to confess to shit. They can, and will, tell you whatever they want regardless of how much of a load of crap it is to try to get you to confess to whatever they'd like to charge you with.
shit just went down in dallasâapparently snipers shot 10 cops and some have died.
and as I type this there are white people using it to discredit protestors and black lives matter, and justifying why black people deserve to die⌠as I suppose an incident like this is intended to do.
people will not consider that there are white people who would kill their fellow white people in order to prove black people deserve to die by the hands of racist police.
this is not paranoia, or some fantasy, or conjecture, this is something that has happened for hundreds of years⌠and as a result black towns and businesses are burned to the ground and black people are lynched in retaliation.

Keep it up, you're doing good work. I am consistently polite and reasonably objective, but they still find reasons to hate me. I regularly message carnists who say they can't go vegan with factual resources that would 100% solve their issue along with genuine offers of help, 9 times out of 10 they tell me they don't care or to go fuck myself. They'll find reasons to hate us and blame us for their carnism no matter what we do. No one eats animals because we didn't ask them to stop nicely enough.
First, thank you <3 And second, Iâm always happy to see your posts and arguments on my dash. You have so much patience to be able to be as polite as you are!
Iâm just done. Absolutely fucking done. The police executed another Black man tonight in Minnesota, as he attempted to comply with orders to produce an ID. He told officers that he had both a gun and conceal carry permit, but that he was reaching solely for his wallet.Â
Philando Castile had a clean record according to his girlfriend, and worked in the public school system. He was murdered by police as his 4-year old daughter sat in the back seat. His courageous girlfriend did something I donât have words forâshe filmed the scene as Phil Castile bled out, while the pig did nothing to save the man he just shot point blank. The video streamed live on Facebook, but has since been taken down. It is still circulating on social media, however I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND watching it. Itâs very graphic and triggering.
We didnât even get a full 24-hours to mourn Alton Sterling before the murderous thugs stole another life. Itâs beyond Black Lives Matter now. We need a revolution, we need liberation, by any means necessary. #farfromover
HOT DOGS AREN'T MADE OUT OF BIRD IM FI KONG PISSING UR SO DUMB
my bad i mistook the racist 4th of July for the other racist thanksgiving where u kill birds. but omg im sorry lemme reiterate: at least we donât kill piglets and pigs and literally any other animal that bleeds and screams for some fucking hot dog you asshat
literally thereâs bird in hot dogs lmao nice tryÂ
This Needs to Stop
This post is directed at the blog @vegan-wastoid to call them out on why theyâre not helping the vegan cause.
Ok. I have been a vegetarian for about a decade. I recently saw a video about the dairy industry and decided to go vegan. After all, why would I support the dairy industry but not the meat industry when the amount of cruelty is similar in both? Anyways, I was looking for vegan blogs to follow and came across yours. I thought you made many great points and was very passionate about animal rights. However, some of your posts have really upset me. I feel like the way you talk to some people sometimes comes across as rude and entitled. Anytime a meat eater makes a comment about why they arenât vegan, you go on this rant, calling them assholes, dicks, saying âlmaoâ to their comments and questions, etc etc. and basically tell theyâre terrible people for eating the way they do. Here are some of my thoughts on the matter.
First of all, why is this necessary? By belittling people and calling them names, I feel like you are not contributing to the vegan cause. You want more people to be vegan right? Why would someone want to become vegan if people like you in the vegan community treats them so disrespectfully? Hate only breeds more hate and if you treat someone like that theyâre most likely not gonna be nice to you or subscribe to your cause. Sure, there are a lot of hateful carnists that bash on veganism every chance they get. But there are also meat eaters who grew up in a society where eating meat is a normal, socially acceptable thing to do and where animalâs lives are below the lives of human beings and their abuse is swept under the rug. What they need is not you telling them theyâre assholes, but rather you giving them education on why being vegan is important. I think more people would be likely to consider being vegan if this were the case. People donât tend to react well when theyâre treated this way for something theyâve done their whole life and think is perfectly acceptable. This is the exact reason why a lot of society will call vegans entitled pricks. Because some of them will treat the meat eaters around them like trash which in turn makes everyone think all vegans are like that, which isnât true.
Second, why do you care so much why someone becomes a vegan? Why does it have to be about animals rights and nothing else? Itâs like youâre saying âI want more people to become vegan, but if it isnât about animal rights then they donât deserve to be veganâ. This makes no sense. If someone wants to become vegan because itâs better for the planet, why should it matter? Another human being just became vegan, which is what veganism needs to grow. Be thankful that for some reason someone else became vegan. If someone wants to be vegan because itâs good for the environment then leave them alone and let them be vegan rather than hating on them because they didnât do it for the reasons you want them to. The environment is just as important as the animals that inhabit it and if we donât care about it, then there wonât be a planet for those animals to live on will there? And as far as doing it for dieting reason, who cares. Maybe they have a negative body image and think being vegan will change that. Maybe they feel crappy because their current diet causes health risks and they want to look and feel better and not die at a young age because they fill themselves with junk food. Or even better, why canât someone be vegan for all 3 of those reasons? Why does it have to just be about animal rights and nothing else? Just let it be and be proud that someone became vegan and is showing their support.
Thirdly, it would do a lot of good to the vegan cause if vegans like you learned to put yourselves in other peopleâs shoes. A meat eater might ask you a legitimate question regarding veganism such as âisnât it expensive?â or âisnât it the circle of life to eat animals?â. Rather than calling them assholes for being meat eaters in the first place and giving them a rude response simply because they ask, why donât you show them facts? Add links to websites or videos that explain it? Why do you have to come across as so rude to people who just wanna know your answer? You donât know, maybe theyâre considering becoming vegan and want more information on why itâs a good thing. Maybe they were raised to think animal abuse is acceptable or doesnât matter and they donât understand why youâre vegan. Maybe they really do just wanna be disrespectful and hate on vegans, but hating them back doesnât help the situation. They would be a lot more likely to hear you out if you treated them with a little respect and educated them rather than hate them.
All in all, I thought going in to your blog I would find passionate people who cared about the need for veganism and want to spread education about veganism. What I got instead was someone treating meat eaters disrespectfully because of who they are. I am in no way trying to come across as disrespectful or rude. I am simply so tired of vegans getting labeled as entitled and preachy simply because of some vegans who act that way. I was actually hesitant to become a vegan because I already get enough hate as a vegetarian as it is. I donât want people to grow up in a world where vegetarianism and veganism are seen in such a negative way. What they should be seen as are positive movements that would make the world a better place. Yes the world needs to change. Yes the world is sick and messed up and there are a lot of terrible things that happen to animals and the environment. But, there is still a lot of good in it and a lot of vegans need to learn to see that. Pessimism and negativity and hate are not going to make the world a better place. Vegans as a whole are not the issue here. The issue is vegans that want to rant and rave and give veganism a bad reputation by yelling at every meat eater they see. It would do the world a lot more good if rather than hating every person around them, vegans like you chose to educate people, especially the younger generation who are so easily effected, and made veganism what it truly is. A beautiful movement born from animal rights that could hopefully one day save the Earth and the people and animals that inhabit it.Â
1. the people I call dicks are 100% dicks. Take notice of the commenters who arenât being rude and how I respond to themÂ
2. Those people Iâm rude to arenât going to change. You need to understand, theyâre never going to change. @acti-veg and @necessaryveganism, both of whom are eons more polite than I am, get the same amount of âyouâre right, Iâm going veganâ replies as I do. Which is pretty close to none. The reason they eat meat isnât because Iâm rude itâs because theyâre selfish pricks who want to keep being selfish pricks. Changing my tone wonât fix that.
3. I never uselessly bash anyone. Any reply I make is informative and factual.Â
4. Iâm pissed off. I have every right to call assholes assholes. I have every right to be angry and reply angrily.Â
5. I care about why people go vegan because unless youâre vegan for the animals, youâre not vegan. There is no, âIâm against racism because itâs good for gender equality.â theyâre two separate movements that happen to intersect at some points.  Veganism is an animal rights movement. Dont turn it into a health fad and donât turn it into an environmental cause.Â
6. Unless youâre vegan for the animals, youâre more than likely not even vegan. Veganism is âa lifestyle choice which excludes all forms of animal exploitation, including food, clothing, personal products, and entertainment.â If youâre âveganâ for the health, youâll still wear leather because that doesnât effect your health. If youâre âveganâ for the environment, youâll still use animal-tested products because that doesnât effect the environment. If youâre 100% vegan, itâs for the animals.Â
7. If you want to eat a plant-based diet, go ahead. If you want to eat a plant-based diet for environmental reasons, go ahead. But donât call yourself vegan.
8. Iâm not apathetic about the environment. But veganism is about the animals, not the environment. What happens when eating meat becomes sustainable?Â
9. I couldnât give less of a shit about the health aspects
10. I literally do. Like I said in point 3. I never go off on someone without backing up what Iâm saying. 8/10 I provide links and sources. I would all the time but I have to type them out by hand. I always reply with information.Â
11. Iâm an asshole. Iâm not going to get any nicer. Iâm tired and Iâm angry. People arenât going to change no matter how polite I am. Feel free to unfollow and ignore my posts.
Plenty of vegans start off trying to be nice and polite but it gets hard with stupid relentless fucking comments and trolling, and seeing all the pain and suffering and how people are willing and ready to make excuses and jokes about it. It just gets hard and some people get jaded fighting the same fight day in and day out while trying to remain cordial

I know that not everyone is well-versed in veganism, and I try not to criticize those who just donât know things, but one of the most common questions I get is, âBut how do you make sure youâre getting enough protein??â. Hereâs the answer. And Iâm happy to report that my recent bloodwork showed that my protein levels are PHENOMENAL, in fact they are better than when I wasnât vegan! Probably because I wasnât really paying attention to making sure i was getting enough protein in my diet when I was still eating meat and animal byproducts. So hooray for vegan protein!
Youâll also notice that almost every single one of these healthy sources of protein are pound for pound significantly cheaper than meat.
Do you know what I find odd? In all of the anti-Yulin and anti-dog meat petitions, not a single one of them calls for the more âhumaneâ slaughter of dogs, âorganicâ dog meat or âfree range certifiedâ dog meat. Thereâs no big campaigns from celebrities calling for better treatment of âmeatâ dogs. Itâs always a call to completely abolish the dog meat industry and put a stop to eating dogs and the Yulin festival forever, not a call for giving dogs bigger cages or better food etc. Most people would bite your head off if you suggested âhumane dog slaughterâ or âhappy dog slaughterhousesâ.Â
But yet campaigning for âhappy beefâ, âhumane porkâ and âfree range chickensâ goes completely unquestioned, and those who call for an abolition to the industries that kill these animals are pretty much shat all over.Â
