I have a love/hate relationship with this scene.

On one hand, it’s funny to show the cultural differences, and how much Thor respects Nat just by the look she gave him. Also, he WAS praising Bruce, instead of treating him like a monster.

The other is the fandom acting like “LOL! Thor is dumb. How can that guy be the God of Thund3r? And AWWW look Steve in the background being a perf cinnamon roll”

He never would have thought that his reaction would affect someone else so much. It was endearing to see how Thor’s face positively lit up as Loki accepted. For someone who seemed so good with the ladies all the time, Loki was surprised to see how happy this made the thunderer.

Chuckling knowingly to himself, Loki stuck to Thor’s side as they began to walk. He shook his head at the question, looking up at him. “Nay. I only rarely venture up here. Besides, going to the gardens would probably be seen as some sort of crime if a person such as me were to go there.” He viewed the gardens as some place sacred and didn’t think he belonged there. But to be invited formally made him at ease. He suspected Thor would want to tell him all about them.

It made sense that Loki had not seen the garden; after all, he had admitted before being more comfortable in the town. “There is no crime against visiting the garden,” Thor said with a slight shake of his head. He didn’t understand Loki’s concerns, but he hoped to dispel them. “The gardens are tended in the hopes that everyone would visit. Mother believes that being in touch with nature will help calm the spirit and invite peace. That and they are beautiful.”

Hell, she was hoping he didn’t even have a clue what those meant. And yet, a tiny part of her did. Lifting her chin, she met his gaze before giggling nervously. “Well, that wasn’t what I meant to say…Ummm, nevermind, just forget that.”

Thor grinned and he raised an eyebrow as the woman continued to talk. He was patient; he could wait her out. Though it was interesting feeling the need and desire from her. Of all the things he had been expecting, a fae queen had not been on the list.

“Come now,” Thor said as he gently took her hand and raised it to his lips. “There is no shame in speaking the truth. If you tell me what it is you desire; I may feel inclined to reward you with it. Princess.”
