A discovery I recently had from the books is that remnant actually does have healing properties, as Dr. Talbert described in Fazbear Frights. You can see actually see bits of it in the games, happening with Springtrap; even though back then it wasnât really a planned thing but it can be used to fill in the inconsistency behind Aftonâs decomposition between the games
The third game - he was a rotting corpse
The sixth- you could see his bare skull in between the mask
And in security breach - that decaying flesh miraculously came back.
So I think with this knowledge of Remnant having a weird healing property, it could mean that the organs that Michael has lost, couldâve been regrowing this entire time, forcing the Ennard amalgamation out of the skin suit.
Which marks the question? If thatâs the case why didnât Charlie or the rest of kids come back from their injuries if remnant is that fallible. Well thatâs the thing; it only happens if remnant is injected into the recipient not expelled from the original source. In Charlieâs case as well as the missing kids, they were the source, and the animatronics were the recipientsâ
Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, The Puppet etc.
They were the things EXPOSED or âinjectedâ with remnant, the same way Michael was injected with remnant via the scooper. Hence why they donât really have much of a healing property where Mike did because heâs an organic being as opposed to bolts and metal bars. This gives me another issue thoughâ Why does William have that property, he didnât have remnant injected before the suit, right? Well, even though itâs not proven factâ in the TSE novels, we did see him live without the suit (Post-Springtrap) and seemingly recovering
so itâs possible he mightâve had remnant injected into himself beforehand. In fact, my theory is that he used the remnant from the dismantled animatronics on himself in FNAF 3.
Considering the time period when the dismantling occurred, they likely happened in one night. William wouldnât have much time to do anything else other than any form of remnant from the animatronics themselves. Remnant that he likely used on himself therefore granting him virtual immortality.
So In conclusion, Michael still can be technically be âaliveâ if you consider the properties of remnant and its weird sci-fi shit we can barely comprehend. More so while ennard was inside, the brain was likely tricked into thinking his body is dead, which yeah he likely definitely was for a period (no heart, bled out etc.); Itâs a classic recipe for a dead person yeah? but when that whacky shit begins coming into play, it likely means that Michaelâs body canonically would be able to heal and regenerate any injuries that he sustained, thanks to the remnant he was injected with.
Itâs weird and I donât know how to feel about it but hey, itâs a just a theory
