It’s set basically after Dominion- the world has had to evolve to living with dinos in the wild. However this obviously comes with humans abusing their power over them. That’s where Din and his super sexy dino crew come in who run a dino rehab/rescue centre.

Raptor Squad:

Razor. A silver/grey Atrociraptor with black ticks along her scales. She has her fair share of scars mostly from pacing the cage of where she was rescued from. She’s the oldest and therefore the beta of the group.

Naboo. A Pyroraptor with silver feathers. She’s the youngest and was rescued by Din when she was barely a hatchling. She’s the speediest of the group.

Gauntlet. A light grey Velociraptor with blue streaks.

Fire spray. A Velociraptor who sports a green base, red streaks and the odd yellow spot.

Naboo and Razor were rescued from the same place along with a Triceratops named Crest, who also has a silver hide. The collector boasted about his collection of silver dinos until their condition was discovered and they were eventually rescued. Naboo and Razor have a grandchild to grandmother relationship, Razor gets annoyed at Boo’s energy but makes sure she gets her share during feeding time.

Gauntlet and Firespray were wild raptors who got caught in traps, so their pack was forced to leave them behind. Very untrusting of Din to begin with but Razor and Naboo helped show them he’s not one of those cruel humans, he’s a good one.

Size large to small goes- Razor, Firespray, Gauntlet, Naboo.

Herbivores:

Crest. A silver Triceratops who is very old, very grumpy, and has always lived alone so can’t handle a herd environment.

Betty, Bella, Beatrice. Three Ankylosaurus rescued from an auction. Created by me just to flesh the park out.

Others:

Krayt. The T-Rex (sandy/tan in colour) who Cobb is in charge of looking after. Found in the desert lost and confused she was taken in to be cared for and eventually released, but refused to be released so spends her days being waited on by Cobb. She’s showing signs of arthritis in her knees so it takes her a bit longer to get up in the mornings.

Mythasaurus Rex. A genetic hybrid designed for no purpose other than “can we actually do this”. I can’t say any more as her presence heavily effects the plot

I’ve been watching a lot of Monkey World whilst I’ve been sick so let’s blame that for this.

HOWEVER! Should Din also work at the tattoo parlour or at Pelis garage across the street hmmmMMMMMMM

The nattering between Claire and Owen as I pop down dinosaurs has been driving the Dinbo portion of my brain insane

Her character? Great. Her actor? Not so much.

HOWEVER I cannot decide what age to make the child. Definitely older than a baby. How old was Din when he was taken in by the Watch???

Part 1- Russia Squad!

Yuri

A snake, for obvious reasons. Specifically a Ball Python.

It would spend most of its time hiding in the lapels/ pockets of his jacket from the cold. He would 100% have a basking lamp for it to chill under whilst he worked on the plane. He may be a dick but he obviously cares about the things in his life (like his daughter).

Murray

Flying Squirrel.

I wanted to give him an animal and that could go absolutely feral if needed and give you that twitchy stare when needed, those things can bite! Plus they have kinda soulless eyes and a thousand yard stare… Would 100% live in his pocket in Russia.

Also imagine a flying squirrel going absolutely apeshit on a ball python during the karate scene.

Joyce

European Hare.

They’re quick, panicky, adorable and feisty. I can really imagine the hare flitting from room to room when Johnathan and Will were young just to make sure they were ok. They would be fine in the Russian snow, they’d probably cope the best out of the lot tbh. 100% would kick and bite the shit out of anyone who messed with her friends and family.

Plus imagine them running around during the Christmas lights scene in season 1…

Hopper

Grey Wolf

A species that can live (but not thrive) alone, but copes better in a family/pack environment. The wolf would definitely take young El under their wing and help her cope. Not afraid to bite a Demogorgon’s ankles. Will defend their family with their life.

After Russia they’d be a lot skinnier, with clumps of fur missing. I imagine the guard’s daemons would snap at the prisoner’s daemons much like the guards would ruff up the people. During the torture they’d forcefully take them away from Hopper and use the strain on their connection to their advantage. I imagine after Russia the wolf would be clingier and even more dog like, resting their head on his lap, sleeping on the bed kinda stuff. Imagine Joyce’s hare snuggling up to his wolf when they finally reunite!!

Dmitri/Enzo

Russian Stoat.

He very much gives me the vibe of being low down on the food chain when it comes to the guards of the prison. He’s willing to help someone escape (for money) even though his life would be at risk doing it.
