Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, lock-down measures and restrictions are bringing together the like-minded in virtual time and space – across any geographical limitations.

In response, nettnett is going live and on air to create an expansive network of guerrilla radio makers and curators from around the globe to grow an information and art channel that aggregates stories, interviews, live performances and conversations. | More than ever before, we see a need for conversing about art, music and culture, education, social justice, community, politics, storytelling, and everything in between.

While nettnett radio will be the base and main platform to host this format. Through our existing networks, we seek to connect teams, groups and communities currently working in the field and to promote and disseminate work issuing an open call for audio-acoustic publishing.

Deploying an easy to use, hands on technology, we would like to not only distribute content but also the knowledge and experience that comes with online radio broadcasting. We would like to facilitate access to global audiences and users based in different locations. Content and programming will be edited and streamed based on a peer-review basis. 

nettnett radio welcomes art, community discussion and sharing of music, information on interdisciplinary cultural / artistic practices. It rejects any kind of dehumanization be it racism, sexism, ableism, classism, or hate speech.

Listen to stories about sound and music along latitudinal lines across the globe. In this episode: Damascus, Tijuana and  the Ladahk Region in India. Kate Carr visits Tijuana and shares perspectives of borders and connections. I worked with Chris Elcombe and Kate Carr on this episode and they gracefully feature some of my music and one of current projects, Vibroacustica.
