Everything that happened was the result of behind the scenes bullshit. No matter how many times they give you the official “it was true to the story” line never believe it. We watched this show for five fucking years and we know what kind of conclusion felt true to the story. A goddamn year ago we were debating when/if Ian and Mickey would get married. Because that felt natural and not forced. 13 goddamn hours later they give you this. No. Nuh uh. This was written out of spite. Never believe anything else.

It wasn’t just us saying that either. We got word from those involved w/ the show that they were pretty much a married couple going into season 5, and this was after a whole hiatus of baiting fans filled with free gear and #Gallavich promos. Something had to have happened in order for them to get rid of their most popular pair. You don’t go one season hardcore promo-ing a pair, and then the next acting like they don’t exist. Not with one of them stuck in prison for eight years. Not with that level of finality. This was a huge vindictive fuck you to the fans and everything the actors had built. It wasn’t an organic development. It was wrong.

This three-page spread (wth) is a mix between the old-fashioned “So your child is genderqueer” PowerPoint and my own experiences/knowledge. As you can see, I added a lot of definitions and pictures (because it was necessary).
